Questions or comments about the server: I truly love the idea of player run towns in vanilla Minecraft. I've been looking for something like this for a long time.

Solo/Group: Depends entirely. If I'm accepted onto the server, I'll probably go solo for a little while until I warm up to people and vice versa. I really want to be part of a group.
PvP/Non-PvP: I'm generally passive. I wouldn't engage in any non-defensive PvP without consent from the opposing side.
Leader/Follower: Mostly a follower, I suppose.
Giver/Taker: I was thinking taker, but looking back, I've put a lot of effort into the communities I've been a part of. I'll do as much as I can to make people happy, and I generally don't want anything in return but a smile.

I'm not much of a gamer. I'm a student, I'm an artist and a musician. Honestly, I haven't kept track of how long I've been playing Minecraft. Maybe since 1.3.2 at the latest, since I remember the release of the 1.4.2 "Pretty Scary Update". I'm only adequate with redstone and building. After the 1.5 release, I gave up on trying to stay on top of that. As it pertains to building, I generally build quaint little houses or villages.
I'm very laid back, very quiet. I'm the observing type... I generally stay in the background. Or, at least, I try to. I'm pretty awkward and uncomfortable in big groups, I don't like much recognition.

An admins role is to help to run the server by monitoring and guiding the activity and behavior of the players as well as that of staff below the admin rank. This would include tending to the players needs and troubleshooting their problems on the server to the best of one's ability to assure everyone has a pleasant time on the server. Players who take this experience away from others should receive consequences from server admins.

What do you think an admin should do when there is a hacker: If someone is suspected of hacking, it's not always easy to know for sure. Anti-cheating/hacking plugins tend to be incorrect about whether or not someone is actually using a hacked client. From my experience, sometimes lag will cause a player to cause suspicion of flying, breaking blocks too quickly, dealing too much damage or not taking enough damage. It would be the admin's responsibility to investigate the situation to the best of their ability. They could talk to the player, figure out if it's possible that the player was lagging by checking their ping and the server's TPS, or by investigating the player's recent activities with their own eyes to see if odd patterns occur. Some times digging in a straight line and ignoring many minerals like iron and gold plus placing torches down exactly every 12 blocks can be a sign of a hacked client, for instance.
In the event that someone is proved to be hacking, then they should be banned. I would issue a permanent ban, but in reality the length of their ban and even the severity of their punishment is dependent upon the usual behavior of other staff members on a server.
Experience: I've been playing Minecraft for years. I'm a relatively good builder and I stay up to date with Minecraft so I can aid others with redstone and new survival techniques. I've administrated over 7 Minecraft servers and moderated even more. I've owned and operated 4 servers that I've either given to people or have faded away because the stress of running owning a server is very persistent.
