I like the idea of having extra space to store arrows but not the locking part.

We don't need more nerfs.

Extremely vague. The title explains more than the actual post.

Ok, you probably know what this suggestion is about but I will explain it anyways.

It is a chest textured to look more like nether brick. It is crafted just like a regular chest but with nether bricks instead of wood. It would replace the wooden chests in nether fortresses. It would have the same storage as chests. It would also be immune to ghast fireballs.

That is all I can explain about it. Also I searched before I posted this.

Here is a list of tips for cave mining:

• Bring good armor. A full set of iron armor or higher is recommended.
• Mine around diamonds. If you don't find lava, mine the diamonds, if you do, cover all the lava with blocks then mine it.
• Bring a water bucket to pour on lava so you don't fall in.
• Don't mine with TNT. It destroys most of the ores.
• Take the stuff out of your inventory that you don't need.
• Watch out for mobs that could attack you.
• Bring lots of torches. Also bring a lot of wood in case you run out of torches.
• Use ender chests if you have a silk touch pickaxe and the right materials. Also keep an ender chest at your house.

Update: I made a mod of this and dropped it into my modpack (link in my signature).

I think you should be able to craft a ladder out of blaze rods. A blazing ladder generates its own mini updraft effect, automatically pushing any entities lazily up the ladder (picture a levitating Blaze). A player can of course take advantage of the updraft in order to speed up the ladder double-quick. Mobs, don't really have a choice. A player can hold Shift to grab the ladder and stay in place, otherwise he or she will be swept up slowly.

Nice work, achieving the most useless post of the year award, even without having reached the age of nine! When you do reach nine years of age, you could always rejoin the thread and consider helping the people you've insulted. Perhaps they could use a little help tuning their computers.

Diamonds in real life generate in many different colors, not just the light blue in game. I know what you are thinking -- all the other colors of gems in minecraft would have to be added as well. However, all of the precious gems in minecraft besides diamond only come in one color or are most famous in that color. However, diamond comes in all shades of the rainbow.

Where am I going with this? I think black diamonds should be added.

How to find them:

Same place as normal diamonds. In fact, when a diamond spawns, it has a 15% chance of spawning as a black diamond. This is to keep diamonds from becoming too common. They also drops 30% more XP than their standard counterparts.

Uses:
Same as normal diamonds -- can be used to make enchantment tables, jukeboxes, and of course tools. The tools are the same as their blue counterparts with 2 differences -- one, well they are black. Black tools, especially swords, would look unbelievably cool, and I know I am not the only one with this opinion. Two, is that they have a 5% higher enchantability rate. However they are rarer than standard diamonds, so it's balanced. In addition, they have a few unique uses. One is black powder -- a black diamond makes a whopping 16 black powder. With 5 black powder and 4 sand, you can create ultra TNT -- it has explosion power of 6, aka the same as an Ender Crystal or Charged Creeper. In addition, gold, lapus, diamond, or emerald ore are NEVER effected by it, making it ideal for TNT mining. (thank you to 0hi0st8 for this idea!) You can also use it for a new potion called Lucky Potion. When the have this potion, made with black diamond, the game will act as if you have selected a 5 level higher enchantment. So if you select a level 20 enchantment for example, you will have the same luck as if you had a level 25 enchantment. It lasts 2 minutes. Lastly you can make deep blue diamonds -- crafted by combining one standard diamond and one black one. You can make deep blue diamond tools -- the tip is midnight blue, which slowly gets lighter and lighter until it turns into light blue at the base. You also have a 5% chance of a random critical hit, and the enchantability is 10% higher than a standard diamond tool, and 5% higher than a black diamond tool. (thanks mulan1024 for the idea!)

The current name doesn't make too much sense and are quite outdated.

'Moss Stone' becomes 'Mossy Cobblestone', because the community already calls it that and it's pretty much mossy cobblestone.

'Stone Stairs' becomes 'Cobblestone Stairs', because they ARE cobblestone stairs.
