i have beta 1102 and it works fine for me
except if you change water level or replace a block with another block type it crashes ive been messing with settings since yesterday tweaking it out ive figured out how to make mountains on islands, plains, plains and caverns, violent mountains, and a couple other. for sum reason it just doesnt like the water being changed the command replace(blocktype):(blocktype)
maybe conflicting with other mods and are you trying mp or sp?
this was not made in 3ds i have 3ds for modeling custom mobs if i could find a coder. And yes i would like 2 or 3 people to help build ruins and temples send me a pm or post a reply here i will have it server side in a few days
Hmm, i have the mod installed, yet when i run minecraft, it doesn't create the settings.ini. Neither does it do this when I make a new world. I tried manually downloading it, and placed it in the .minecraft folder. None of this has changed anything, and i keep getting the regular terrain. Anyone have any clue? Any help appreciated.
the biome settings you download are default so if u didnt change anything in that file you wont c any changes in the game

once i delete any replace material line it works thianks for the update ive been waiting for this
Dwarves the real miners(down deep in the caves)
Trolls (not ogres, trolls are much larger and more dangerous hill areas)
Scorpion(desert areas)
Goblins(forest areas)
Snotlings(forest areas, smaller version of the goblin about 1/4 the size)
Skeleton Horse (for the skeletons to ride)
Lich(deep caves)
Sea Dragon(all water dragon has no wings lives in caves underwater)
Fish Men(water areas)
Mermaid(water Caves, deep sea areas)
Minotaur(Forest and desert areas)
Centaur(forest areas)
i can 3d model all of these in 3ds no problem but need help coding so basically looking for a partner, ill 3d model everything and u can code it i model and texture that's all until i figure out the coding. anyone interested in this let me know this will be a full pack with all these mobs as one download.
noticed the werewolfs head goes right threw blocks is this normal i had a doorway 2 blocks high 1 wide werewolf walked right threw it and there overpowered a little to i think. also any hd textures for mo creatures?
ive never had a problem like that i always find tons of ore together or in the imidiate area specially iron. there is always sum close by the coal and wouldnt bother updateing this to beta yet is there not another patch coming out? i been following this thread since beta came out and no efforts to update it so will c i just use mcedit it works for beta so does the job for now
This is a large map im working on called wastelands. Quick breakdown Limited Wood, no leaves, only water is underground,no grass no dirt, just sand,rock,cobblestone,minerals. there will be a random oasis maybe 3 all together map files 30mb right now making it 150mb. The terrain.png is also edited for this theme looking for sum ideals and 2 or 3 people to help build giant ruins of cities and crypts.Also anyone that makes new mobs if you could make a desert scorpion would be sweet i can model it in 3ds but i dont know how to code i can also texture it as well. so thats that heres sum screens ive edited the terrain png, sun, moon
on my end seems to be the bird sounds, when i first c the birds not a problem but i think because all types of the birds show up together it tries to play every bird sound hence the lag maybe got a couple screens with 10 plus birds only lag on sounds first activating
yeah most games use a sky box if u look at the sky u can c the square outline sometimes. but im pretty sure minecraft has skysphere with the stars on one side. if that can be edited think of the sick night skies that can be made and a fog color changer would be nice. i 3d model and texture dont know crap about coding and modding =( i fail. . .
any modders that have edited the sun, shaders anything graphical have u seen a skybox setting or a fog color setting anywere? custom fog and skyboxes ftw =)

same folder area of your minecraft build if u can c app folder u need to enable show all hidden files and folders threw the folder options in windows hop this helps
