The joke is that they added ruins.

yeah, but thats because those push you up. The magma blocks generate bubbles the wrong way to show you which way you go in the column.

The only problem with this snapshot is that the magma bubble columns are going the wrong way. I get that gameplay trumps realism, but it still irks me.

As far as I'm concerned, bats are already little flying monsters.

I'm sorry, but as a modder, a lot of this is ridiculous to me. You want those mods, then just add them. Minecraft forge is so easy to an 11 year old can figure it out. The amount of work that you are suggesting Mojang take upon themselves is INSANE. Forge took several years to get where it is now, Mojang cant just add a mod-loader overnight. And why do you keep yelling about obfuscation? Who cares? MCP can nullify the obfuscation easily, how do you think modders write their mods?
If you want to be taken seriously, put some more thought into these suggestions so they aren't just "add mod x to the game" and post them on r/minecraftsuggestions.

Sorry, I tend to get triggered when ever geodash is mentioned, my brother plays it fanatically. Carry on.

This is normal behavior for developers, please calm down.

Software development is hard. Most modders don't give release dates to the public anymore because of people like you. The fact that Mojang does makes them very generous.

I hope they add a gong/big bell sound for note blocks. Forge should add a system to allow you to add new sounds, I would use the hell out of that.

Because its intended to completely replace achievements. Do you use an old toothbrush after getting a new one? If so, that's just gross.

Couldn't you just have the foliath seed check if its being right clicked on a flower pot, and if it does you replace the pot with a custom TE? As long as it drops a flower pot, the illusion should work.

As a tip, mod makers prefer it if you post your crashlogs to pastebin.

He might be thinking of the arcane bore, which did/does pull in items.

Do the multicolored beams do anything other than damage? There's a similar spell in dungeons and dragons called prismatic spray, and each of its rays does a different kind of damage (fire for red, acid for orange, poison for green etc). Perhaps a similar mechanic would be interesting.

The game would probably not even load with that many mods installed. I don't think the pi even has enough ram to load all the assets.

I'm trying to use a loot table to define drops for a block, but I'm having trouble reading the loot table. Here's my code:
https://pastebin.com/1Hf6nnxC
I've confirmed that its selecting the correct loot table from the hash table, but its not actually drawing anything from the loot table. Instead, it just makes an empty list. Specifically, generateLootForPools doesn't seem to be doing anything. And what is LootContext anyways?

My guess is that an igloo spawned on the edge of a fresh chunk.

I love pipes, but I feel like they need more decoration. Some gauges would be nice, for example. Besides, who checks a pipe with a tuning fork anyways?

I feel like fishing up a dangerous fish like a piranha would be enough to break afk fishing.

Suggestion regarding golems: I like the idea of programmable wisps, however golems are kind of part of thaumcraft's identity now, and it seems almost wrong to get rid of them (besides, they're super adorable). Thus I propose a compromise: Wisps take on the role that golems currently fill, and golems become something new. I think they would be cool as personal assistant-like entities that follow you around and can perform certain tasks such as defending you or fetching supplies. I imagine that you could use "voice" commands (typed in a chat like interface accessed by right clicking a golemancer's bell) to tell them what to do. For example, lets say you need a perditio crystal for your research. Rather than getting it yourself, you could ring the bell and say "bring me 3 perditio crystal ". "bring me" is the keyword that triggers the fetch action, "3" is of course the amount, and "perditio crystal" is the item you want. For the sake of making this work with other languages (at least to a point), you could use the localized item name from the lang file, making sure to make it case insensitive. Once the golem parses the command, it scans for valid containers in range and attempts to pathfind to them, ignoring any it can't reach. It then accesses and searches through each one, and if it finds what its looking for, it brings it back to you. If it doesn't find it, it returns to you and apologizes for its inadequacy. There could be other functions as well, but I think you get the gist. Rather than automating repetitive tasks, golems execute specific tasks on demand for you.

I hope you made a backup.

Not necessarily. There's more than one way to store data on an entity.

The in game config gui doest work, so I had to go to the cfg file. For some reason, the cfg entry for the cheat sheet is buried in the custom enchantments section. I assume its not supposed to be there?

I just tried the beta, I like the changes to research. However, I've noticed that the creative mode cheat sheet isnt working, which has made it harder to try out the new stuff. Also, I suggest making the gauntlet an open hand, as the current model makes it difficult to tell what it is.
