The only animation I'm seeing with version 1.5.1 of this mod (Forge 1448, AnimationAPI 1.2.4) is breathing when player is stationary. Walking/running, crawling, jumping - everything is still vanilla. Player model doesn't have joints either. It loads though! For this I am grateful, at least. As much as I like Mo' Bends (another mod similar to this one) it has some performance issues and doesn't seem to be updated for 1.7 anymore.
Hey guys, I know it's been like a year and I can't really make an excuse. I can't say my life revolves around minecraft modding as much as it used to, so just an apology for those who have been waiting for a long time. However, every time I get some free time, I will come back to check on things, and I'm very inspired that you all are still checking out my mods
Just updated! I'm a year late, but better late than never? Haha jk, will try to add some content throughout the summer!
Hey guys I know there are a lot of bugs and I'm on the process of fixing them. I can't work on it now, but I'll try to get an update up in the next few days.
I knew you could do it! I started grinning from ear to ear when I saw this, I gotta say. Great work prof! One quick question on this, though. Will this fix include the Twilight Forest's Knightly and Phantom armor too? They have various spikes that protrude from the model, and I wasn't sure if you were working on this.
Thanks xD It's still in development and I haven't fixed anything like dual swords in Battlegear (yet, hopefully). It should works as long as the modders connected their pieces properly to the vanilla minecraft player model. However, I still haven't fixed the armor rendering correctly for the forearms and the feet. Probably gonna release beforehand, but I'll work on it more to see if I can get it working.
Had a bit more time on my hand, so just released a new update with swordfish Also added some other random fish like fairy and black cap basslets, plus added rocks into world generation. Check out the changelist for more info, and tell me how it goes Gonna work on updating animated players now
You've done it again hippo, amazed me I mean. You're mods don't just fit with survival, they take it's essence and enhance it almost like they're official expansions or updates. Even in a very early version, it is a very high quality mod.
I suggest making the sea monster much bigger, so if you were to add in sharks, they would be able to be a realistic size and still be in the shadow of the "Leviathan". Buff the health a good bit too, as 5 hearts more than the player isn't that intimidating. Maybe even add a hydration system for adding sub-aquatic creatures like crocodiles or giant salamanders...lava sea salamanders...yeah. The mobs would have submerge every so often or they take damage, and will go into the water so they don't die. The fish could swim in schools, and swim away from predators and players, as to make the hunting more amusing to watch. The fore-mentioned crocodiles or amphibians could also live in rivers or lakes. So many suggestions in my brain but I've said enough >_<.
Thanks Yeah this serpent was kind of a test serpent for me to make sure I could make serpents at all. Now i can solidify the code and all
This is a good mod with good potential even beyond what you have now.
I love it.
Would you add a server config option to prevent hostile mobs from attacking players unless they are attacked by a player?
It is a good config option if we are trying to have a fairly peaceful server but still have interesting waters. So a serpent would do everything normal except he would not target a player unless a player attacks it, then that one serpent would be switched to normal hostile mob against all players. I would very much like this option.
It would also be good to have all creatures drop something. Perhaps at least 1 out of 3 times you kill them? Even only partly useful items such as a bone, seaweed, or some regular uncooked fish for food. perhaps an odd item of interest on a rare occasion. Just an idea.
Perhaps seaweed could be a 1/2 heart food for the desparate. Does seaweed grow? how tall in water?
Question: Do the creatures de-spawn? if so how?
(I love this mod)
Hmm I understand your concern. It's an odd thing to do, but I'll see. Still working on drops, so i'll probably add something eventually. Seaweed does grow up to four blocks, and then shrinks back to 1 or 2, and then grows again The creatures despawn unless tamed, and currently only seahorses are tameable

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you give me any more information about your game? Do you have any other mods installed?

(Hint: The helmet is from the Farlanders mod and the armor and GUI are from the Battlegear 2 mod)
