Hello, I was insulted by the moderator of this server (Kelly, leader of the elven faction). After being insulted and confronting this moderator of the issue, I was threatened with a ban and then banned temporarily for one second. I come back, asking for the moderator to address my issue maturely and I get banned for a minute forty seconds. Then, coming back getting banned for 11 seconds. Finally, after asking her to "Please. Stop." I get a permanent ban. I do not know if it was her whom banned me, but I sure hope so. Please address this issue if possible as I did nothing worth a ban, period and I for one am quite annoyed. Multiple other players despise this moderator and do not think she is suitable for such a position. I have screenshots if necessary, thank you.

Do you have a Skype? If so, what is your Skype Name? (This is by no means required and holds no weight on your acceptance. We just use Skype a lot): Yes I do, but I plan on making a new one specifically for this server if I get accepted. I'll update my post with it or simply give it to whoever needs it OOC ingame.

Have you read all of the rules, agree to abide by them, and by the decisions of our staff?: Yes, not sure what I was suppose to give my opinion on, but it sounded like the topic of how to talk OOC? I'd say I prefer whispering, but to my knowledge I wasn't quite 100% on the question. If it helps, I know it's in rule 12.

What is the definition of “Powergaming”?: Forcing RP onto another's character, or doing an action involving another's character without their consent.

What is the definition of “Metagaming”?: Using OOC knowledge to benefit your character IC.

What is the definition of “Roleplay”?: Taking on the role of another character, thinking and maneuvering through their life/situation as they would.

Who can use flymod, X-ray and other such clientsided mods?: Nobody.

When are you allowed to cause the death of another character?: With their consent or if it is an extremely reasonable situation. You cannot go around killing people and typically battles will simply result in "defeat" of the other's character, rather than death.

When are you allowed to speak out of character?: When you have a question on a roleplaying topic, action, etc. Should be done with ()s and/or in OOC channel(s).

Have you read the primary server lore of our server and agree to roleplay in accordance with it?: I've read most it, going to go back and finish it and yes I do.

Who is allowed to use magic?: Sages are. Typically nobody else will, unless they have an extremely solid reason/application for it.

How did the Humans come to be in the Caves?: (Secret Underground Melon Farm) The humans were forced underground after an apocalypse. I cannot find anything else on them on the website, nor the forum post.

What are the Shrines?: I believe they were buildings of the undergods filled with treasures, resources and so on that could be controlled by factions in the caves.

What previous roleplay experience have you had, if any?: A lot of roleplaying on World of Warcraft, a few Fallout Minecraft servers (Not too great.) Really it.

If you have played on other RP servers, please say which and why you left: Mainly Fallout servers. Variations in location, but really all the same. The communities typically weren't good, the roleplaying sucked and the lore just didn't interest me a whole lot.

    Character Information

    Name: Samuel Velroth

    Age: 53

Race or Nationality (Javil, Horium, Ragnau or Khazi-Un): Ragnau

Class: I was hoping to be an astronomer/philosopher so.. Artificer

Physical description: Around 6"3, Samuel stands somewhat tall for a human. He has very thin layer of grayish white hair covering his scalp, slightly balding. He has a small scar over his cheekbone, going up over his eye and a big burly thick gray beard. He looks a bit swoll, as if he was quite muscular and fit when he was younger. He can typically be found in slightly elegant clothing made of silk and so fourth but kept simple. He can sometimes be seen with glasses if studying, or in the work place.

Screen capture of your skin: Profile image. I plan on changing it, but using same face. It's more of a thief skin.

Biography (Minimum 400 words. Cannot include loved ones being killed, kidnapped, tortured, or the like, unless you can do it in a non-cliche manner.): Samuel Velroth grew up in an average home in Ragnau, but his father was one of the better woodsmen of his village so he did have a bit more luxurious childhood. His mother was a stay at home mom, like most women of his time and in his village. They lived in an average sized village, which was very calm and peaceful for most of his life. Nothing too chaotic ever happened near him, so he had a very calm and innocent childhood. At the age of 10, he began helping his father in his line of work, chopping wood for their village, helping his father's close friend who was a carpenter and so on. They would go out into the harsh forests for hours on end taking down eighty foot tall thick ancient trees. Samuel didn't help a whole lot as a younger boy, but it still helped him build as a person. As a child, he often dreamed of becoming a fierce warrior, defending Ragnau on it's fronts. He would always brag about it to his father and friends, thinking that was the only pursuit of happiness for him. He never thought he'd be interesting in reading, writing or anything that higher class people typically tended to focus on. Soon that all changed. At a young age he learned morals and values of hard work and dedication, making him quite a humble young adult. It started shaping him into a bit more mature of a person, he realized how awful being a warrior would be. Around the age of 18 or so he became interested in knowledge, reading and writing, which he regrets not giving a chance earlier in life. He began to learn to read and improve on his VERY basic reading skills. At 19 he had built up a small library and also had began stargazing with his uncle who had visited the kingdom to do multiple astronomy assignments with a colleague. He became very obsessed with this area of development and left to go to assist a small town's Borut who was interested in a new exciting constellation Samuel had discovered. The Borut wasn't anyone special or important, but it was evidence to Samuel that he was mastering his work and beginning to be recognized for it. Skipping a few years, Samuel found himself working as one of the leading Scholar's of Ragnau. He often did not have time or the funding to create his own studies or theories. He mainly served as an assistant to older and wiser scholars, which he did not mind. He picked up a lot while helping some of the best loremasters, scribes, astronomers and philosophers of Ragnau. This was around the age of 35. He had built up a very large library and a number of connections which would aid him later in life. Which, Samuel kept in his father's home. His father, still alive at this point was aging and mainly stayed home now. He watched over Samuel's many valuable books, maps and tools. Samuel moved back to his hometown after a few years in Ragnau's capital. He was in dire need of a break. The constant pressures and demand for new ideas from the royal family were stressing him out and causing major mental anguish. He began to struggle day to day and even began living with his father. He watched from their tiny, humble village as the kingdoms began to rip each other apart. As magic began to take over. When the southern realm waged war on the other three. He began to fear something of end time proportions was taking place. After the first battle's news reached his town he realized how serious it was. By that time, many of his friends and people he worked with had been ran out of Ragnau, or killed. Fearing a similar fate he set out for a place where he could take care of his father in his old age and hopefully not have to defend himself in the wild.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation): To aid his people in their political offense and regain their prosperity. Meet with the undergods, or a knowledgeable sage to talk with and learn more about his existence.

Strengths (Both physical and personality): He is quite a smart man when it comes to basic survival and living off the land. He may be a very mind and book related man, but he is still quite powerful and strong simply due to labor as a young adult and genetics. He's not hot-headed and can keep his cool while remaining very humble. He is always open to new theories and ideas.

Weaknesses (Both physical and personality): Beginning to grow old and suffering from weakening bones and strength. He suffers from severe obsession of knowledge and how little he and everyone around him knows.

Will your character likely join an existing faction? If so, which? If not, why not?: Mmm. Probably not. I could see him leading or joining up with a scholar like group, but I did not see any that fit that description. Which is what Im looking for, unfortunately.

Does your character have any connections to currently-existing characters or characters yet to be accepted? If so, which? (See “Character Linking Aid”. Please post a link to the topic.): No he does not, but right after I post this I will be setting one a Character Link.

In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation.Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)

Walking down the streets of the Undercity, you encounter a pair of heavily armed and armoured men harassing a young girl.

Samuel: *Samuel, walking down the street notices the two men in heavy chain armor with short swords sheathed, surrounding a young woman, grabbing her by the arm. He closes his book, shaking his head taking off his glasses. Wishing he could help, but knowing he can't he continues down the beatened cobblestone pathway of Ragnau ashamed of himself.*

You’ve been lost in the tunnels for nearly a week without food, and come across a small independent settlement.

Samuel:*Samuel enters the tiny town, weary of exhaustion. He walks into a local tavern, nearly empty as it was around midnight and on a cold night. He slowly walked up to the innkeeper, leaning against a wooden rail for support.* "P-Please.. Sir. I have been lost in the tunnels. For days.. Spare any food to me, please..? I-I would take anything. Stale bread. Please.." Samuel says, letting out a weak cough.
Inkeeper: *The man slowly steps back slightly disgusted with Samuel's poor appearance. "Um. Yeah. I'll see what we have, sir.." He says almost arrogantly, yet still feeling slightly bad for the old man. He walks back to the cook's kitchen and spots a crusty slice of thick wheat bread. He picks it up and walks back out, handing the man the bread* "Um. Here. Take a seat, sir rest a while. I need to head downstairs to lockup the wine cellar."
Samuel: *Nodding, he sitting down, sighing in relief. He stares at the bread in his hand, then gets over the ugly appearance. He takes bits of it down at a time, choking down the awful bread. After about twenty minutes of not seeing the innkeeper he heads out to continue his journey.*

You pass an old man lying on the side of the street, begging for food.

Samuel: *Walks slowly down the pathway, making a clacking noise as his cane hits the cobblestone. As he nears an old man, older than he; Samuel realizes what the man is doing. Begging.
Bum:The man looks at Samuel, as he did to others passing by, who simply ignored him and asks. "Spare food, sir? Please! I haven't eaten in weeks. I'm so weak.."
Samuel:*Samuel stops and frowns, not having any food. He reaches into his pocket feeling two silver coins. He pulls them out and hands them to the man.* "No food, sorry. Take these."
Bum: *The man nods and runs into a small butchery across the street.
Samuel: *Samuel notices through the window as the man talks to the shopkeep, then being let behind the counter then disappearing down a stairwell. Samuel then realizes the man went into an underground fighting and gambling ring hidden under the shop that nearly everyone in the town knew about. Realizing he'd been tricked, he walks off ashamed and annoyed.*

In a tavern, a slightly inebriated fellow insults your mother.

Samuel: *Looking up from his poetry entry, Samuel looks at the obviously drunken man who had been troubling not just him but other's like him earlier. The cheesy and horrid remark about his mother, who had passed on a few years back and was never really close to him made him chuckle.* "Is that so? I suppose my mother was quite the prostitute, I mean look at the education I got. How else could she have helped me afford it and support me through it?" *Samuel stands, grabbing his cane and begins to leave the tavern and head home, having enough for the night.*

You take a liking to a beautiful necklace a passing woman wears

Samuel: *In a local jewelry shop, Samuel examines some new diamonds the shop had shipped in. He notices a very elegant rich woman walking by him already wearing a necklace woven with them. He examines it closely, deciding he enjoyed the beautiful white color of the diamonds. He called the shopkeep over and bought an earring to fit into his left ear, currently being occupied with a golden hoop. He smiles after purchasing the rather expensive diamond and heads out holding it in his hand.*

Do you have any questions about the server or our lore? Nope.

Other notes: I hope it works now. Also, when I say travel with his father, I planned on simply stating that his father decided to stay back at a certain town, etc. Rather than continuing on with the journey due to old age and weakness. A friend who was going to play the character didn't want to really come to the server, so I had to change that. Figured I'd let the next whitelister to read this know.

Please. Post more lore. I cannot make a character that fits my likings with such limited lore. I know that there is a decent amount, maybe I'm missing something, I don't know. As for my RP style/format being wrong, please explain. I'm not understanding what's wrong with it, still.

Cannot include loved ones being killed, kidnapped, tortured, or the like, unless you can do it in a non-cliche manner.): Samuel Velroth grew up in an average home in Ragnau, but his father was one of the better woodsmen of his village so he did have a bit more luxurious childhood. At the age of 10, he began helping his father in his line of work, chopping wood for their village, helping his father's close friend who was a carpenter and so on. From a young age he learned morals and values of hard work and dedication, making him quite a humble young adult. Around 18 or so he became interested in knowledge, reading and writing. He began to learn to read and improve on his VERY basic reading skills. At 19 he had built up a small library and also had began stargazing with his uncle who had visited the kingdom to do multiple astronomy assignments with a colleague. He became very obsessed with this area of development and left to go to assist a larger town's Borut who was interested in a new constellation Samuel had discovered. Skipping a few years, Samuel found himself working as one of the leading Scholar's of Ragnau. Many were better than him, but he was still a young man around the age of 35. Later on at 42, he moved to Roland's bowl fearing all of the hype and brutal chaos of the world surrounding him. He has lived there for the past 14 years.

An example can be found after this form.) *Cracking his neck, Samuel looks at the candle resting on his handmade wooden desk, watching the wax slowly burn. He closes his eyes, going back to his map infront of him of the stars.* "I'm simply not seeing it, Darian." *Darian, Samuel's assistant sighs, looking at the map pointing at a large object in the sky poorly etched in* "Right there, Samuel. I'm telling you, it is round and very large. It cannot be a star. It is too close, I saw it from my telescope last night. You simply have to see it with your own eyes!" *Samuel nods, slightly interested, but needing to move on.* "Well show it to me tonight, do more research on it in the private library. I have to get back to a theory I am looking into from an admired philosopher from Ragnau, an old friend of mine." *Darian nods, leaving the room without announcing his departure.*

Walking down the streets of the Undercity, you encounter a pair of heavily armed and armoured men harassing a young girl. *Samuel, walking down the street notices the two men in heavy chain armor with short swords sheathed, surrounding a young woman, grabbing her by the arm.

*Samuel enters the tiny town, weary of exhaustion. *The man slowly steps back slightly disgusted with Samuel's poor appearance. "Um. I need to head downstairs to lockup the wine cellar." *Samuel nods, sitting down, sighing in relief. He stares at the bread in his hand, then gets over the ugly appearance. He takes bits of it down at a time, choking down the awful bread. After about twenty minutes of not seeing the innkeeper he heads out to continue his journey.*

You pass an old man lying on the side of the street, begging for food.*Walks slowly down the pathway, making a clacking noise as his cane hits the cobblestone. As he nears an old man, older than he; Samuel realizes what the man is doing. Begging. The man looks at Samuel, as he did to others passing by, who simply ignored him and asks. "Spare food, sir? Please! I haven't eaten in weeks. I'm so weak.." *Samuel stops and frowns, not having any food. He reaches into his pocket feeling two silver coins. He pulls them out and hands them to the man.* "No food, sorry. Take these." *The man nods and runs into a small butchery across the street. Samuel notices through the window as the man talks to the shopkeep, then being let behind the counter then disappearing down a stairwell. Samuel then realizes the man went into an underground fighting and gambling ring hidden under the shop that nearly everyone in the town knew about. Realizing he'd been tricked, he walks off ashamed and annoyed.*

In a tavern, a slightly inebriated fellow insults your mother. *Looking up from his poetry entry, Samuel looks at the obviously drunken man who had been troubling not just him but other's like him earlier.

You take a liking to a beautiful necklace a passing woman wears *In a local jewelry shop, Samuel examines some new diamonds the shop had shipped in.

Nope.

Other notes: I accidently made an extra IC scene not realizing you had given me some to act out. I figured I'd include it. - *Cracking his neck, Samuel looks at the candle resting on his handmade wooden desk, watching the wax slowly burn.

Have you played any fallout Game? Which one: Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas and a slight bit of Fallout 2
Why do you want to play on this server?: When I used to be into Minecraft, I loved these Fallout themed roleplay servers, really the only types of servers I played on.. Just got back into Minecraft, might as well apply for one.
Have you read the rules?: Diamond (Text art won't load.)
Have you read the lore?: After the chairman disappeared, Rothwell took control of the New Chicago area and basically fixed it up. Took in the old NCR grounds, etc.

    IC
    Name: Sam Velroth
    Age: 31
    Gender: Male
Character's signifying traits, include appearance as well: Similar to most individuals of the time, he is very rugged and exhausted looking. He's of average height and build, he is balding with a bit of a beard. He's been known to be slightly stern, mature, understanding but not sympathetic. Simply out there looking out for his along with everyone's best interest.
RP example (At LEAST a paragraph): *As Sam opened the door to the Seers Tower lobby, he nodded at the man behind the desk saying hello. The man gave a faint wave back.* "Good Morning, Vel." He said with a casual tone. *Sam Velroth continued walking, reaching the elevator off to the right of the man's desk. He hit the button, then waited for the elevator. It finally came down after about 30 seconds or so, he entered hitting the 7th floor, where his office was located. He then took the elevator up to go do some office work.*
Character biography (At LEAST 2 paragraphs): Sam Velroth was born in the New Chicago area in 2250. He grew up in the area for most of his life, moving around a bit during his teenage years. He finally settled when he was 25 or so. He became interested in the NCPF and joined up with it a few years later after volunteer work at the age of 29.

He now works as an officer of the force, doing the dirty work similar to most of his colleges. He has an office in the 7th floor of the Seer's Tower, which is where he practically lives. He does not keep close relationships with many outside of the force or his line of work, so he really is dedicated to his job. He hopes this will aid him in applying for his new position.

What faction and position are you applying for?: New Chicago Police Force - Police Captain

Why should we let you have a leadership position in this faction?: As I stated, really all I ever played in terms of serious multiplayer Minecraft has been Fallout themed servers. I feel this experience, along with my maturity and understanding of most of the situations I would be an ideal candidate for such a position.
Do you have any experience with anything like this? Give specifics: Of course, one of my more recent experiences with a leadership role was on my very last Fallout themed server. I believe it was centered around Seattle, I was mayor of a small town (Biggest on the server, but tiny roleplay/lore wise) which thrived until the server recieved an overhaul/update which resulted in my leaving. Other than that, I've had many other minor roles in Fallout servers. Ranging from playing as a simple pawn in the Enclave to higher ranking BoS roles. Really anything you could imagine.

Have you ever played on any Fallout role-play servers? Give specifics: See above, but yes I have. Really all I have played on.

How much experience do you have in Fallout?: I would say quite a reasonable amount, which could definitely expand. I've played Fallout 3 and New Vegas along with bits of Fallout 2. Along with playing on MANY Fallout themed servers.
Write a good 2 paragraphs, one including a brief history of the faction, and the other connecting your character to the faction: From their compound in the Seer's tower, the NCPF keeps an eased grip on the city. Allowing it to prosper and grow on it's own, but still watching over it. After their chairman vanished, the vice chairman Rothwell took control. Once in power, New Chicago took a bright turn. They are now aiding the BoS in their fight against the Enclave.

Sam Velroth had lived in the New Chicago area for quite sometime, being a local for nearly his whole life. He joined up as a recruit in the NCPF when he was 29, serving as mainly a regular officer of the group, but eventually working his way through the ranks. Hoping the new chairman would see more in him than some of the others, he applied for the new police captain position that had opened up under said new management.

What other RP experience have you had before? Many in other games, a few other Minecraft servers, along with forum RP. It may seem bland and dull, but I assure you - I have quite a lot of experience and would love to further it on this server. Love the theme, as well.

    IG

    Name: Scott Tinkerton

    Gender: Male

    Age: 29

Appearance: A bit of a hardened looking young man is a decent way to describe him. He boasts a buzzed head, with a few scars and scratches on it. His face is scarred, dirty and well beaten down. He wears a small dark forest green bandanna over his mouth and nose, attempting to keep dust and what not out of his system. He has a long sleeve white undershirt, with black leather bracers, beaten down leather gloves and a green vest/tunic covering his chest as little armor. He has an overall lean, athletic build - Looking to be a very agile, quick man, although he appears to lack strength and brute force. He has a leather belt on, along with a pair of torn up old pants. He isn't anything special, but definitely somebody you would attempt to avoid if in a one on one situation.
Roleplay Example: *Scott shifts through a small pile of cogs, gears and metal machinery on his workbench in his quarters. He is searching for something to fit, or work with his new flashes custom made goggles. He grabs a cogwheel, along with a wrench and begins to fiddle with his near complete goggles.* "Bagh, this is useless. It's too tedious for my patience! I'll just get Nathan to fix me something up." Scott says in frustration, throwing his tools on his bench and walking out of his room, into another small compartment in his airship, mumbling something vague to himself.

Backstory(2+ GOOD paragraphs): Scott was born to two average Crimson Angel foot soldiers. No heroic past, or anything. Just an average existence. While growing up, he trained and played with other children in a similar situation. Usually hiding among the shadows, like the rest of his people he became aware of how to manipulate his surroundings and use stealth to his advantage in his teens. He isn't some master assassin, or any big hotshot, but he could sneak around a dangerous foe or two with decent ease. Nearing his early twenties, he became a bit weary of the pack lifestyle. Although still aiding the Crimson Angels, he wished to set out and almost explore the world, see it for what it is.
Because of this desire, he became a scout for the Crimson Angel, unofficially really. He had built a make-shift airship with a few others sharing his goal and set out. Quite a rusty piece of flying junk, he was usually thought of as a Clanker gang member to most. He now travels with the group he started out with in his airship, looking for wealth, fame, adventures and even a bit of trouble.
