Mojang has to make sure to let the entire Minecraft community know that they hate us all equally. Resource pack makers suffer with hard-coded colors, map makers with command block changes that break maps every single version, mod makers... well... let's skate past that mess, and builders get no new slabs and stairs. Thus the entire Minecraft community suffers together. It's kind of like love... except the opposite of that. :P

(Sorry, I can't help but give Mojang crap over some of their glaringly obvious mistakes. I criticize and chide out of love. The same kind Mojang shows us with their lack of stairs and slabs. ;) :P )

They listen... it just doesn't get heard though... But, it's most definitely how I feel a lot of times with this developer...

Now if more pvp'ers felt the way you did... this world would be an iota of a better place

I would like that personally, maybe make a sub-wiki (is that even a thing?) that entails all things involving modifying minecraft so Modders and Artists can come together?

More developments... I've taken what had been noted about my resource pack's gui's unity and maybe give it some more organic ideas to it. I seen some unique things done with some woodworking shows and use of laminates that got some gears turning. I'm currently holding some of those close to my chest. However here's something I've just finished that will be available with C&TM Alpha 2

    Grass Blocks -

    New Healthbar

Also a welcome back to NorthernerSouth! Been a while.

You'd have to get permission from the company who made those textures... No one on the forums can give you such allowances.

Although likelyhood that you'd receive permission is about as likely as finding the Hope Diamond on the streets of whoknowswhere, WI

Not bad Neoix, would be an interesting way to build a pack, go through the different builds of MC and maybe use them as development cycles for your pack?

Got some more of my GUI done for Complete & Total Mayhem... figured the minimalist method works well with it. It's clean yet complex. Anyone happen to know if I can edit the text for the individual GUI? maybe make the font color different?

Also can add dirt to the list of blocks worked on...

Also got a download to the pack.. (this is still in Alpha 1 here, all the stuff I have for Alpha 2 will be out sometime soon)

posted a message on Minecraft PVP Texture Pack

99.9% of all PVP packs are created from HiTeen's or Vattic's Faithful with some mediocre to poor modifications that make for some really butt ugly textures... I'm talking orangutan with a bit of baboon.

And because of the nature of most PVP packs, they are mostly a form of copyright infringement. Now if you can somehow find the owner of the textures you want to separate those specific textures from the infringing pack/s and post them as a stand alone, that would be acceptable, however again to post the full pack is infringement of Copyright against the original artist if the assets are not his/hers to post.

I hope not to disuade you from the game or perhaps finding a pack that works great for you, however I hope that I have given you the tools to say 'No I don't want to support a PvP'er that robs from artists.'

You still have it #4, The steel's sturdy and the rust is superficial... Keep at it and you'll find yourself center again.

Glad to see the old guard's return.

I think this type of contest would be something that could be done every month or three or something? I would like to see it happen as it looks fun and can be very flexible to the artists, generally speaking as a form of practice. I could get in on it too XD.
