Even though I barely wish to go any further than x64 with my textures on this machine this helped so much in making it possible.Posted in: Resource Packs

Please don't be afraid to comment!
About the x64 I do know there's a tiling issue with the cobble.

New wool and finished bench
some refinements on 32x textures.
I do want to change the wool but do tell me what you think so far.
Jun 8, 2011Thank you very much for the enthusiastic comments! After I get the 'basic gist of it' I'll go through and refine the paintings to make better blending of the textures. I have a few personal gripes of my own but I find the sentements quite refreshing.Posted in: Resource Packs
Jun 7, 2011Now updated with x32 version. Both are still works in progressPosted in: Resource Packs
Jun 7, 2011Thank you for your kind words, I'm working out the kinks for the benches right now!Posted in: Resource Packs
Jun 7, 2011Hello there, I'm fairly new to the whole making of texture packs for Minecraft. I have a couple of small questions. I tried to make glass have a semi transparent (translucent) appearance by lowering opacity, however in game the texture becomes 'solid.' Is this a common issue and does it effect all the other blocks? I seen Ice is different in that it can be translucent and I'm wondering because I'd like to have a glass-like obsidian with translucent and transparent appearance.Posted in: Resource Pack Discussion
I appreciate your time, Thank you.
Edit - Sorry I found the answer about glass a moment ago. However my other question still stands, would it be possible to make other blocks translucent aside from ice or is that the only one with the capacity?

-Note to everyone entering... I'm in the middle of a major overhaul of my thread and how my pack can be downloaded... please be patient as this may take a while... if you want to download... I got it all on PMC right now ready and waiting for you! Thanks for taking the time to look!-
Chromatose is the result of various experiments with color theory and developing game graphics using Minecraft as a vehicle. I also got tired of seeing the ugly 'coder' graphics that came with the game originally. I also got highly involved in this because I've found playing Minecraft to me is like developing a zen garden, you take a lot of time developing structures of intrigue and that's what I hope this pack can do is help make those wonderful structures look that much better.
If you download this pack, you may -
Use this pack in any video even with monetization. If you do monetize you MUST include a link to this thread or the one on PlanetMinecraft.
Use parts of this pack in any PRIVATE remix packs... you CANNOT and I repeat CANNOT redistribute the remix in ANY way.
Use any of the CTM coding to reference ways of making a pack yourself.
You also are restricted from doing the following -
You are not allowed to redistribute any piece of this pack AT ALL except for the CTM Coding that I have described above.
You are not allowed to take any asset and claim it as your own.
If there are any questions, please write me either in this thread or via pm I'll be glad to clear up any issues.
These are galleries that I've gotten set up through Imgur to showcase Chromatose as best I can!
This is a gallery of all the blocks based on Kab's Texture Showcase
This is a gallery of awesome builds and stuff that's been sent to me from players enjoying my pack! Feel free to send me your images and I'll gladly toss them in here!
I'd like to thank CrochetKim and BlackCosmos567 for some of these pics! Also I've included some of my own...
This gallery will showcase the natural form of Minecraft under Chromatose
Also some Youtube Videos that I've either found or asked for. If you guys want to put up vids on Youtube, please let me know! I'd be happy to post them here!
There are two types of [Base] packs... one is -Stable- and the other is Experimental, the experimental one is always changing but might have something messed up in it. It's pretty much what I use through dropbox to go between my drawing laptop and my PC. The stable one goes through CurseForge, you can also get the archival packs for the 1.5(backwards compatable) and 1.6. These are no longer updated though.
These links go through Adfoc.us to help me produce a small fund that I use to help my house a bit, it's not much but helps with groceries every once in a while
These links are direct links that do not use Adfoc.us but you still go through goo.gl, this way I can see how many downloads I got with them.
I've set things up with the pack to work as a stand alone pack with add-on packs for either MCPatcher or Optifine. The reason behind this is because I've tried out my pack with Optifine and found that there are several new things with CTM that aren't available either because they've not been updated within Optifine or what have you. So I've set out to work an add-on pack that will make it so people who work with Optifine aren't burned but rather enhanced.
So here's what you'll need to do!
You just take the base pack and the add-on that coresponds to the mod you're using either MCPatcher or Optifine.
Put that in your .minecraft/resourcepacks folder.
Go into Minecraft, hit the Resource Packs Button, and put the Base Pack on the bottom of the list with the MCPatcher or Optifine over it.
If done right everything will be working fine.
I don't mind anyone taking the time to share my pack around, in fact I wholly support people spreading the word!
If you want to put a banner in your sig you can with this little snippet of code
I also have a Facebook profile set up for my works under the name Psychovision Entertainment.
You can add a 'Like' or 'Follow' it here!
I always accept donations through Paypal. Just give this little button a whirl and toss as much change in the can as you'd like!
I'd also like to thank the following people
CrochetKim - Donated $35usd
Thank you all for checking out this thread and my pack. Feel free to contact me with any suggestions or concerns!

Aug 14, 2014To everyone griping about the previous snapshot's 3d Modeled doors, please cool yourselves... It's still available you just have to do a little work yourselves. Just get the 14w32d snapshot and put the blockstates and textures from that and put them into a resource pack.Posted in: News
I for one didn't care for the forced method of the holes in the doors. This change will help those who are wanting to simply texture the doors without having to map them to the previous models... I sure don't I have my own crazy designs I'm implementing.
Have a good day.
Jul 3, 2014There was something someone else had noticed that there is a character limit on posts... something like 75,000 Could we get that boosted a bit. There's many of us (not me per se) that make massive posts for tutorials and guide, like the 'All Inclusive Guide for Texturing,' as an example. If I had the moment for it I would site others...Posted in: News
Hope that helps others on the forums.
Jun 30, 2014Probably not Lokio. I'm also enthusiastic about not having threads being eaten... still going to backup my OP code personally just in case something still lingers. (Precaution is always paramount when it comes to data)Posted in: News
Feb 7, 2014So (hopefully) mobs are more intelligent, more adventure and command block capacity, a ton of bugfixes, and they're not really releasing too many new textures so I can actually catch up quicker. Man 1.8 sounds like it might actually turn up better than 1.7. (sorry the 1.7 texture bugs had gotten me rather fumed... still getting things fixed from all the renderPass layering issues)Posted in: News
Jun 7, 2013And here I was, hoping they'd detail some more about the Resource Pack...Posted in: News
Nahp... Ultrahardcore Mode.
Hopefully they give us artists about a good month prior to 1.6 to get things ready... (I hope I can still pull off Backwards Compatibility without having to have multiple downloads...)
Jun 8, 2012thecrazydudesrd posted a message on Curse BETA Client Now Includes Texturepacks, and Minecraft News!I see the benefit of this, also I see as Cows stated there is a lot of possible theft that can go on.Posted in: News
I would like to ask though that if possible that there would be some sort of option to instead of a premium membership, perhaps a bit of coin through advertising revenues such as say 1000 dls = $X
I honestly do see this as Curse's attempt at doing something nice for the community.
