Yeah I had the exact same problem as you. I right-clicked on the Minecraft shortcut > Run with graphics processor > Change default graphics processor...
For some reason I still have to manually open it with my card, default doesn't work.
As I kept track of the snapshots, I took great interest in the new boat rowing system by using the A and D keys to control each oar. Upon playing the 1.9 release, I realized those mechanics were gone and it was the same as before! Why were they removed? Did Jeb believe it was too difficult to control? Were many people complaining? Were there technical limitations?
It's not possible to support such things on inferior console machines.
That's true, but as more people play modding technology may begin to emerge. Or they'll build in mods the same way they did skins and texture packs. Also, kids usually aren't as capable with mods or as interested. Well, sometimes. But the Xbox community is undeniably growing, and so is its support.
Xbox, Playstation, and Pocket Edition will eventually replace the PC version. Yes, there will still be a small community, but consoles are just so convenient for kids that it will overtake PC.
Another thing you could do is implement plugins that make the game more realistic, like thirst, temperature to add challenge, as well as custom biomes, seasons, mobs, and crops to make the game more interesting.
This is what I needed, thanks. This is much easier than using scoreboard commands. I see how execute works; pretty cool because you can work multiple commands into it.
Seems like a great idea! I would suggest adding a section for combat, mining/underground and ores, as well as a command block section- as 1.9 comes, that grows in importance. I would be happy to help in architecture and brewing.
Try to keep it balanced between players. I've been on so many economy servers where it's basically a couple of donors have these completely overpowered, huge shops that monopolize everything. The only way to get to the top is to pay or to grind boring stuff for literally YEARS.
Most servers I've been on usually have a rank system, but it tends to rank up very fast at the beginning, but then rapidly deteriorate to very slow progress.
So if you want a good server, my advice is to avoid people having to grind too much. Make your ranks follow the achievement path of Minecraft so people play normal survival. Have a couple of special features that make it interesting. This could be a theme, like RPG or future or factions or economy or prison, or you could have a special plugin, like lottery or MCMMO etc. The best thing I would suggest, though, is to have a special system like elections, economy, some form of Minecraft Socialism... I don't know.
but you need some cryptstone pistons. Otherwise you can just mine the pistons and redstone, get through, and have a boost to your next redstone project while you're at it.
I've seen various only-one-commands that make hotels and cities and stuff. I'm trying to recreate a similar thing, but with little experience and on a much smaller scale (around 3x3 builds.) I also don't mind using a clone command from a template instead of /setblocking every single block.
What's the best way to use a custom name spawn egg to build a structure?

-Historical fighting-related terms: samurai, gladiator, phalanx, spartan, mongol etc.
-historical figures: Caesar, Genghis Khan, etc.
-historical weapons: gladius, halberd, tiger sword, etc.
But it doesn't have to be related to PVP (or Minecraft). Just bear in mind these basic rules:
-Don't use acronyms or initials (including YT for YouTube or MC for Minecraft)
-Don't use numbers (if you must work it into the name, like 4nations or l33t)
-capitalize
-use as few words as possible, but two (e.g. an adjective and a noun) is fine
-think about actual pro gamer names like Faze, etc.- one word, sometimes respelling of regular word
For example, the username I use for gaming is Kwalm, a respelling of qualm, which means "an uneasy feeling of doubt."

I have stupid deaths all the time in Skywars. I literally just walk around and then fall. Just by accident.

Good point, but I would definitely suggest custom biomes. Servers like World of Atlas and MassiveCraft really pulled that off.

Sounds good! Do you know the exact commands?
