theeCthulhu here and I decided to start making a series to keep myself entertained and to keep you guys entertained. My goals for this series to have a good fan base and to just simply have fun while making this series. I'm very VERY new to minecraft, I've only played a few times before this series; so it'll be fun to sit there and watch me mess up and watch me do things the hard way while you just laugh at my noobish ways :smile.gif:

I would learn java before you do anything or else modding would be pointless cause you would do nothing but watch tutorials and not actually make your own mod. But once you learn java check out the tutorial section I started modding today and made my own blocks it's fairly easy to be honest.
What people say is true. Knowing the Minecraft/Modloader or other Minecraft modding API is one thing, Knowing Java is something else. The best place to start would be either google or youtube. Here is a great youtube tutorial series which alot of people recommend.
You could also just use google aswell. Goodluck!
I watched those tutorials to learn java, best in my eyes but use oracles (http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/) as an explainer or another look on a topic if your confused how bucky explains it all. Good luck! I just started modding today and already have a pretty good block base on my mod :smile.gif:
