- like the new assembler
- old assember still got interface but you cannot craft with it anymore > maybe deactivate the interface
- on destroying the interface/crafting recpies stays (good)
- if you press next and prev you have no clue on which page you actually are
- some blocks connect to the wire, though they have no use outside of the assembler (for example the CPU > counter-intuitive)
Bus:
- no information what the the interface can do
- maybe add tooltips or chatprinting stuff for explanation
ME Controller:
- Energy Requirement works
- you have config to disable the energy need (good)
- you can use MJ or EU (good, though I dont know how MJ is fitting into the Image of "electronic systems")
- Redstone Energy conduits dont re-connect to the Controller if you break the controller
ME Terminal:
- you have no way to get only 1 piece out of the terminal
- if you have damage value items, the bar overwrites the counter
- still no message on fail (i know you working on that )
- imho the request should be more consistent like the craft window, like if you press on cobble you get that request window like for crafting where you can enter you
Storage Bus:
- Great addition! Works perfectly
ME Interface:
- Under some circumstances the interface doesnt autocraft nvm was my error
- auto-refiling through autocrafting is slower than expected. Only 1 item crafted each second
If I find more, I'll add it to the list
and before I forget it, good job :-) already a fine mod to me
€:
- I think the old wiki layout was better color chosing. Orange on White is kinda hard to read
- maybe adding a navigation bar on the left side would help immensily
- thermalexpansions wiki has good overview (http://thermalexpansion.wikispaces.com/)
At the moment, the AE auto crafting is not accessible via Logistics, just the storage.
I have not talked to them about using crafting from my system as it doesn't have all the bells and whistles that I think it will requires.
Yea, the auto crafting feature in AE needs some upgrades to help tell you whats going on, they just aren't here yet
Ok, what about accessing the output face of the AE Interface? You can create these holo-items on the left to order them on the right. With that you should be able to access them with a provider pipe?
Is there a way to use the crafting interface via Logistic Pipe?
I have inserted an easy crafting recipe into the Assembler (http://puu.sh/1Wnjc - Furnace)
but when I hook up a provider and request pipe onto the interface I cannot craft it (http://puu.sh/1WnoU)
and something I noticed. It doesn't tell you, if a crafting fails due to no ressources.
Suggestion: You need to shift + rightclick to apply a pouch to an enderchest.
Sometimes its really annoying if you apply on accident even though you just wanted to open the enderchest and you happened to have your pouche in your hand.
It doesn't use Logistics Pipes power, but you can feed it with IC2 power.
oh cause it mentioned BC's MJ only in the descriptions ^^ good to know.
Do the chunkloading core function as chunkloaders? (question may sound silly, but for SSP kinda needed else you have 3000 chunkloaders within your SSP world xD)
will it be able to draw power from LP energy grid? cause I mainly run on IC power (which LP power gen supports) but since yours has to be BC it kinda destroys space efficiency
yea I like the principle. Addtional Pipes are way too easy to craft, used and cheap. But its not working with LogisticPipe at the moment is sad :-( but cant wait for update ^^
Are the barrels all in a line? Otherwise they'd probably get visited in some arbitrary order. So how awesome is addition?
yes they are
due to this routers have a very weak point: overflow protection
If you have 1 barrel and 1 router and the barrel is filled with cobble and you want to insert dirt
the router will get stuck
My idea was, that every item which is present in my barrel row will be stored (if not full)
at the end is an empty barrel which will update if a new item will enter the system.
I will pump out these items cause they are not registered in my system and stored in an "random"-chest
or do you have implemented the routers with a different idea? If yes, please share your idea!
There is some unexpected behavior with routers and barrels.
if you have a large amount of barrels and 1 router feeding these, even though you add a through-upgrade on it, it happens to overgo 1 barrel even though it should fill it up first.
If you read this, I would appreciate it if you would answer and then I can tell you how awesome this addition is. Barrels ftw! =)
You can send items from one router to the other via the "Ejector" Upgrade
@Nisheeth: thanks for pointing out where changelog was, but apparently its either intended or not discovered yet. I almost think its the problem using the Speed Upgrade is so fast, that Barrels cannot accept items in time.
Is there a changelog for 1.4.2 to 1.4.5?
Cause I have a problem with the Thoroughness Upgrade of the Router in the 1.4.2 version (cause of feed the beast).
As it is descripted it should fill _all_ containers first in row and then the ones behind,
but for me on rare occasions it wont do it.
Is this a bug or just cause of the dimension (about 100 barrels in use with 60 additional chests.) If its not a bug, is there a work around?
I'm not sure why you hate so much
shes posting on twitter her progress and you see her doing dev-work on RP2.
Haste just produces buggy products and do you want to corrupt alle your worlds just of some random error?
I am not getting any fatal MC errors when I start MC, but the mod doesn't like the ids I am putting in my properties file. It says all my items are tools or armor items, rather than bread, chops, steak, doors, enderperls, etc.
The error messages when parsing the properties file
