The name says it all. In future snapshot versions, there should be a What's New section in the creative inventory that has all the blocks that were added. The section can be deleted after.
I loved the new Netherite tools and armor, but I think Minecraft needs more variety.
I have many ideas for the tools and armor, and I will list them down here.
WOOL ARMOR
It is weaker than leather, dyeable, but greatly lessens fall damage since wool can make beds -- and beds can break your fall and lessen the damage. It has somewhat lower durability than leather but is more durable than gold.
EMERALD ARMOR and Tools
It has lower durability than diamond tools and armor, but more efficient and strong.
STONE ARMOR
Can be made by smelting cobblestone and crafting it into armor. More durable than gold, but blocks less damage.
CERAMIC ARMOR
It has lower durability than chain mail, but still works and blocks more damage. Can be crafted by bricks. Can change color
ICE ARMOR and tools
Simply crafted from blue ice. It is just as strong as iron, but easily loses its durability when it comes to fire-related things. Ice tools deal more damage to blazes.
Glass Armor and tools
This armor is totally a joke and instantly breaks when used. But it can last longer with enchantments. Glass tools with enchantments are as good as stone.
BONUS: Very small chance to burn mobs when glass tools are right-clicked while pointing to a mob and it is morning. Very useless at night.
Blackstone Armor
Not any different from stone armor, just the color
Quartz Armor
Not any different from ceramic armor.
PRISMARINE ARMOR and Tools
Made from "prismarine ingots" which are made from shards. Has the same durability as diamond armor and tools. Prismarine armor blocks less damage than Diamond armor, and prismarine tools deal less damage, but are just as effective as diamond tools. Easier to enchant. Deals higher damage to golems and guardians, squids, fish, zombies, and squid.
DRAGONSCALE Armor
This armor is more durable than Netherite and blocks more damage. It is easier to enchant this type of armor. It doesn't burn in lava too.
HOW TO OBTAIN: Defeat the Ender Dragon. The dragon drops 1 Dragon Scales upon death. You will have to smelt it to make Smooth Dragon Scales. You then have to put it in a Smithing Table along with a diamond armor piece in order to change it to Dragonscale Armor. The only way to repair Dragonscale armor is to be near an End Crystal, which will fix 1 armor point per second (you have to wear it. But you can put the armor on an armor stand then let the End Crystal do its work. This adds another use for armor stands)
These are currently all my suggestions for more armor and tools.
Add a rare enchantment for weapons called lifeline. Basically, it has a chance to heal you every time you deal damage to any mob or animal or player. This is a pretty simple suggestion.Zombies with weapons that have lifelink will damage themselves when they damage you or a villager. Other mobs that are not undead can heal with Lifelink. Also, maybe you can add a curse enchantment that damages you whenever you damage someone else. It's like the opposite of lifelink.
The names says it all. Any Dolphin that you have not punched or made it hostile will have a chance to save you if you are drowning. They must be in a 12 block radius.
Pressure plates should have the ability to be placed in any direction, like buttons, so that we could create more interesting builds.
Like for example, you can place a pressure plate on the roof. If you jump up and hit the roof, the pressure plate will activate and send a redstone signal.
Another example is a pressure plate on the wall. if you move towards the wall, the pressure plate should get pressed.
Thanks for the insight! I really never knew the true speeds of boats. Also, I'll try to update the combining mechanics. And about the chest weight system, I think it's kinda reasonable to make it sink less. Some people think it's op, so i kinda nerfed it. But the thing is, would a full chest slow a minecart down? Nope. I had second thoughts on nerfing. But again, Minecraft needs no physics.
Under-lava Nether Temples are like Ocean Temples but with a twist...
Beneath the fiery liquid exists a sinister, red, omnious temple. An evil sibling of the ocean temple, with twisted, cracked spires, red prismarine and orange-yellow glowstone. This is a fortress not for the faintest of hearts, and the smallest of minds. "Now," you may ask yourself, "How do I visit such a difficult place? Diving in lava is a burden, and how much more of a burden is it to swim and see through it?"
POTION OF LAVA AFFINITY
Well, my child, you must acquire the Potion of Lava Affinity, which needs a magma cream, blaze rod, and a jar of honey. Craft them together and you will get an ingredient. Brew it and you will get what you needed.
The effects of this potion is a boon and a bane. Number one: You will get harmed if you touch water and rain. Don't like being an Enderman? What a shame. But this potion, when used in the Nether, can change the game. When you touch fire, or swim in lava, you will be safe. You can see through it properly, like water, and swim through it like a master.
But be warned, the Lava Temple is rare. It's most likely when you dive in the lava ocean, it won't be there. So grab a map from the nearest carpenter. And make sure you are a great mapper.
THE LAVA GUARDIANS
On your journey, you will see twisted and dead corals. However, do not let that destroy your morale. Eventually, you would see huge, red, guardianlike pufferfish. They are not one to be eaten in a dish! They have one eye, and more powerful spikes. They will do anything to take your life. Their lasers create small explosions, and that makes them more atrocious.
When you manage to get in, that's when your journey will almost end. Just remember that it's yourself that you defend. There is a more sinister threat, and you must be scared, I bet.
A gigantic guardian, a size of a huge slime, will attack and bomb you, without wasting time. It's weak spot is only the eye, but its spikes will entwine. Once you defeat the big beast, you will find some treasure you seek. One of the important objects is the Ruby. They come in threes, for every chest inside you see.
Take the rubies back home, and only Notch (and the devs) knows what's its use. Maybe it could be a source of redstone, or a fuse. But that is the end of my suggestion.
So this is like putting blocks on Minecarts, except that it is on boats.
Chest Boat - A boat that has a chest on it. The chest has a weight value of 0, unless if you put more items in it. If you put too much items, the boat will sink.
TNT boat - A boat with TNT on it. If you crash it or crash on it, it will explode. (perfect for ocean base bombing) If you manage to sink it, then ti will become an underwater explosive. The deeper the TNT boat goes, the higher chance it would explode. It would have a 10% chance to explode (per water block) if it goes down at least 5 water blocks. It would 100% explode if it reaches 15 water blocks below. (It's like how pressure destroys stuff)
Furnace boat - When the furnace is powered up, the boat can move 13 blocks per second. The only way to stop it is to remove the power source or let it burn out. You cannot move the boat when it is powered. Only steer. The furnace boat is perfect to match up with TNT. It can create a water missile.
Redstone Block Boat - Activates TNT boats.
Lead and Adhesives - With lead and adhesives, you can connect boats and make water contraptions with them! You can use lead to tie boats with other boats, while the adhesive is like glue. Boats have 4 sides. If you select a side, the side will become yellowish white (color of the adhesive) and you can put a boat beside the side to connect it. You can connect furnace boats with chest boats and passenger boats to make a steerable transporter!
So this is kinda my first suggestion in an eternity. Seriously? I have been gone for months and my first suggestion is about music? But I guess I'm kind of out of ideas. But music is very appealing, especially for battle. Ok, now I sound like a music teacher.
Let's just get on with it.
So my idea is pretty self-explanatory. Whenever you are in a boss battle, an epic soundtrack will trigger. Whenever, you are seriously hurt and still in a fight, a "STRUGGLING" music will play.
Cuz the only way to have Minecraft music is to use jukeboxes and noteblocks, and most of other Minecraft is just ambiance.
Anyways, that's all for my simple idea. See ya'll later and goodbye
Basically it is a sponge that is covered by Diamonds in the crafting table and then if u place it in an ocean it creates a permanent big air bubble unless if you break the sponge. The sponge can be moved by pistons and the bubble will move with it Also, the sponge never turns into Wet Sponge because it is SUPER SPONGE
One iron golem is not enough to defend a whole village against so much pillagers. There should be at least some villager combat to spice up the battle. I would like to see some brave villagers wearing some head band and running like crazy towards the pillagers and fighting them. It's fun, but do you agree with me that there should be any villager combat?

The air bubble is persistent until the block is broken/moved
Also by big a radius of 5 blocks
If it will turn back into wet sponge, then what is the point of the super sponge? It has to make a permanent water bubble.
also i edited the post and the crafting

No you cant just simply make a zombie passive. Just lower spawn rates
