I wanted to get this mod a chance, it looked like it had some potential to be fun, but then it seems alot of the properties of the mod are hardcoded and can't be edited.
I tried to use a combination of Iguana Tweaks and COFH to make it so the ores have a higher mining requirement, but no matter what I did, nothing would work, I attempted to increase the mining requirement from it's default of Iron to a much higher tier using iguana tweaks and using COFH's worldgen feature to restrict the ores to witchery's spirit world, but sadly after changing the level with the blockoverride and setting up the json file in COFH, I found that the mod completely ignores them, ores are still iron level requirement and spawn in the overworld.
In the instance of mods I am playing, the default would be too overpowered, so I wanted to do some rebalancing, but since everything is hardcoded it seems I can't do that, oh well. I guess I won't get to try out this mod.
Wait did the forums bug out? I posted here before but it vanished.
A small request for the config, just like with the dimension blacklist, could there be a dimension whitelist? At least for the overworld ore.
I wanted to make the overworld draconium ore only appear in witchery's spirit world, I was already able to do such with metallurgy's fantasy metals, I was just hoping I could do the same with draconium ore.
Just wanted to say since I like Tinker's Construct so much, I like ExtraTiC alot.
But I was wondering, would it be possible to add support for the More Planets addon for Galacticraft? Since you added Desh from Galacticraft I figured I would ask.
Why would you switch it on or off for half an hour? Are you that indecisive? Everything would be at the default settings, but you can choose to turn it off. And this stuff is to change the way Minecraft looks. Same thing as Optifine. Games generally have a wide variety of graphics options, GUI options, etc.
Finally, someone who understands.Although we should not have to resort to mods like Optifine just to be able to enjoy a game.(Though I wouldnt mind if the statistic tooltip toggle was a feature for Optifine).
I am not asking for a toggle for every single little thing, just a toggle for one simple little thing in a GUI and you are making it out like its some massive deal.
the attribute thing is quite handy, especially for new players. Also, the options menu is already incredibly clogged up and we don't need a measly option like this clogging it up even more.
So you are pretty much saying you dont want everyone to be happy? Tell me your logic.
First off the only reason why I dislike the + attack damage thing is because well, I just like seeing only the weapon name, to be honest I dont see why you guys are hating on a simple little button in the options menu that lets you turn off attribute tooltips on items, it would not harm anything. (Its mainly nostalgia I guess, I suppose thats why minecraft kinda died for me after 1.6 is because of that addition, I usually play mod instances that are on 1.4.7 or 1.5.2 but theres a couple instances I play on that are on 1.6.4 and one instance thats on the latest version.) But if you guys honestly dont want somthing that would (possibly) make everyone happy then please dont bother posting on this thread, not trying to sound rude but I am just saying, why not add it just for those who dislike it, Im sure I am not the only one out of the massive amount of players who play MC that dislike the + attack damage tooltip/attribute, the addition would be as simple as a button in options that says Display Attributes: On/Off.
I'll be honest, theres some things in the recent MC updates that made it die for me, for the most part made me refuse to play the latest versions.(Before you start making hate replies stating that "Im whining over nothing" think for a second and hit the back button on your browser then never return to this thread).
Since 1.6 I disliked the + attack damage tooltip, I know alot of people out there like it, any chance on a simple little button in the options menu that allows the player to toggle that? Would make everyone happy, those who dont like it can turn it off(be it few), and those who do can keep it on, plain and simple, no arguements would be needed.
also in the recent snapshot theres a new skin format, now I am not hating on it moreso just asking this for those who dont play on the latest version of Minecraft(be it for nostalgia or to play a modpack such as FTB or Voids Wrath). The idea is when uploading is when 1.8 comes out to let players choose between the old and new skin formats? I seen the customization menu in the MC options but I am not 100% sure if that does it(do correct me though if it does). It wouldnt hurt anyone and would make it so people wouldnt have to constantly switch their skin from old to new every time they wanted to play an outdated modpack or just play an older version of MC for the nostalgic feeling.
I dont see these ideas really hurting anything, and its nothing like "bring back (insert name of old feature here), its moreso just somthing to (hopefully) make everyone happy.
Sadly due to the mods I play with, Im still playing thaumcraft 3 on 1.4.7(Yeah Im on a way behind version)
But I wanted to show this, look at all those wisps, and I never touched the node, I made my thaumcraft base way far from my normal base(and this node is near my normal base)
Turns out it was a nasty unstable node the whole time!

I find sheep completely useless, they spy on me all the time and get in my way, and what do they drop? WOOL, I use 3 wool for a bed and thats it.
So pretty much I want to see Mojang add mutton before adding other meats like this (*gag...*) cat meat.

as in armor that minecraft characters wear, I was hoping to find someone to make a quick armor skin of leather armor with amber plates on it.
