    Also, I agree with the idea above, coloring fireworks with dye. If possible, use damage and block data values to stack the different colors onto one block id.



    I tested this out, but it was a bit annoying, because the fuse time is to low for escaping from the explosion. I always died, when the launch failed.

    Thank you all for the nice comments.
    I will look, if i can include some of your ideas to the mod.

    And I had the idea for the mod, while i was playing arround with the TNT java files, then i had a block that didn't fly up, but it was like a cannon, because i had changed the motionX. Then i had a big epic cave after punching it ;D

    Block ids are 0-127 (some being used by notch) although you can extend it to 0-255 with Shockah's more block ids

    If you make a block have 325 id it just doesnt work cause thats an item id

    Developement closed until I know how to code the things i want (like custom particles)

    I present you my first Mod named Firework Mod.

    What is it?
    Do I really have to explain what firework is?

    What's it's use?
    Fun (maybe some people will use it to make caves)

    How to install:
    1. Download Risugami's Modloader V4(it looks like that it also works with V5, but I haven't tested it) and install it http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=80246
    2. Download Firework Mod [link below]
    3. Add all ".class" files + the "mods" folder to your minecraft.jar
    4. Delete META-INF folder
    5. Have Fun

    Use it with caution! (I destroyed my whole world with it!)

    Note:
    You CAN use Redstone to activate it!

    For the next Version:
    -I might will change the Block ID to 235 (I tried for V1.1, but i failed and got more than 500 Errors) *cancelled for now*
    -I will try to make an own particle for the Firework, to look more like a Firework
    -COLORS!

    Progress:
    I managed to change the color of the particles, but i had to edit the "particles.png",and because there is only 1 of it, i only can set 1 color at the moment. I think I will need some time to figure out, how to make several colors, because i don't want to have too many files in the end.

    A little Test

    Changelog:
    V1.1
    -Changed the Recipe--Instead of Gunpowder, you have to use TNT
    -Decreased motionY of the first Entity from 1.6D to 1.45D, so you can see the Particles better.
