And do you also see the destructive potential? Supercharged Creepers! Diamond Golems would have an upside, and a downside.Posted in: News

Ender Pearls are ridiculously hard to obtain in large quantities until you've defeated the Ender Dragon. And it requires several Pearls to activate an Ender Ring, the only advantage over throwing a pearl is that the location is exact and distance is unlimited. It's not overpowered in any way when you look at it like that.

How so? If Ender Chests can be coded for each individual player, so can Ender Rings.

Maybe it's just me but I can't reconcile the idea that adding lapis lazuli to an obsidian block would have that much of an effect on it's ultimate function. Perhaps what we need is something entirely different than Obsidian, maybe something similar to Ender Portal Frame Blocks?
@Xrazr28shootrX: Simple solution, the feedback from Ender Energy in The End cases a Ring to explode if it's activated there.

As for how to make/obtain Crying Obsidian, I don't have many ideas so I'll leave that open for debate... Perhaps obsidian created beneath the ocean biome has a small chance of randomly being Crying Obsidian?

You would have an Sender Ring and a Receiver Ring which would be crafted like this;
= Ender Pearl
= Crying Obsidian
Sender:
Receiver:
The different lines of travel are determined by the color of the wool that's used in crafting. So a green sender ring would teleport you to a green receiver ring. And a red sender ring would teleport you to a red receiver ring. This would automatically limit the amount of travel lines you can have by the amount of wool colors.
There can only be one sender and receiver per color.
So let me know what you think... I tried my best to be detailed, but I may have missed something... Critiques would be appreciated.

Obviously thirty-six diamonds is quite an undertaking for most of us. I've been trying to think of some ability with both pros and cons that would justify such an undertaking. As you know Lightning is extremely rare and so are Super-charged creepers. What if Diamonds Golems could shoot lightning? It would be extremely effective against virtually all enemies while making creepers ( !) even more dangerous than before.
In order to add an additional element of challenge to making them you could make the central block of the construct some sort of charged diamond, perhaps using red stone, or even a totally new item like thunder stone, which could appear very rarely in single block veins beneath level 18 or something, just like diamonds, perhaps even lower. Maybe it would require specific conditions in order to spawn?
And also, the Iron Golems have a look that suits them already, but in order to add some uniqueness to Diamond Golems I think they should have a more jagged shape, perhaps something close to the Frost Atronachs from Skyrim.
Anyways, that's all I have for now, perhaps my brain will churn out more details later, what do you guys think?
