    We talking with or without mods? I assume because you're in the mods section of the site, you want mods. You can automate the production of glass in countless different mods...you could pulverize/macerate/grind/crush cobblestone into sand, then pipe that into a furnace/smelter and pipe the resulting glass into a waiting chest for you.

    So...this may be a silly question...but what does this program even do, exactly? What mods can it run? I've never used it, I never thought the process of running mods through Forge "like the rest of the world" was a particularly difficult thing.

    But a lot of people have asked me about how to use this "MagicLauncher" and I honestly don't know what to tell them. On the MagicLauncher forum thread, it's telling people to put mods in "their mods folder" or to play Forge, you have to "install Forge"

    So...what does MagicLauncher do for you?? How is it any better than the vanilla launcher?

    Also, is that many people spawning everywhere standard practice? lol. You are constantly fighting the whole time! :)

    Also, whenever I'd load new chunks, there was significant lag. I assume it was loading new chunks, as it was every 16 blocks or so, it'd hang for about 1/2 to 1 second then go again.

    I think you installed Forge on your client and not on your server. Your client can have mods that the server may not have...but if you try to use any of the items, the server simply says "I don't know what this is..." and takes it away from you. Make sure all the mods are installed on both the client and the server.

    Playing with an "unorthodox" mod pack, and I've found that none of the fluid pipes will pump into the Smelters. I have pipes available from both Rotarycraft (usually very reliable with other liquid mods, works perfectly with Ender Chests, Dynamic Tanks 2, etc) and Engineer's Toolbox (only usually hooks up to ET stuff...but included for completeness). Which mod is responsible for making sure pipes will hook up to your Smelters? Do they have to change something or do you? I'd like to pump all my hard-acquired lava into there and not ladle it by hand...and I don't want to install Buildcraft just to get the waterproof pipes...

    Ideas? :) Very enjoyable mod, btw.

    Something that would be splendid would be support for Metallurgy ores. Sadly, my fancy sockets won't process my Metallurgy ores :)

    And I see your point for the Machine Output module, and I did realize it could be pre-configured correctly (after being silly and posting above).

    [EDIT: Just trying crazy things...Metallurgy Smelters cannot have lava piped into them (I'm speaking to Metallurgy about this...) but you can right-click with lava buckets to fill it up. You see where I'm going with this. Not sure why (coding wise) but you cannot simulate a player right click with a lava bucket and have it go into the smelter. Tried everything. I can make it output the lava as a source block, but not to load the machine. Just an idea to implement, if possible. Also, I thought the tooltip said that "Extra Item output sent to Machine Output" or some such. How does that work? The unfilled buckets didn't want to get outa there, is there a way to have it use the bucket then dump it out the machine output? Anywho, having fun with your mod :)]

    [EDIT 2: Spoke with Metallurgy, says that the non-piping issue is a bug and it should be pipe-able, which makes my build thingy superfluous...but was still a good idea. Something for you to look into? :P]

    And quick question, how do you work the Rock Melter? I tried using a friction heater, the friction heater doesn't want to interact with it. Tried lava, didn't seem to do anything but raise the temperature. Or does it just take a long time?

    Running a testing server for me and my friends before launching into a modded let's play, tryin to learn the ins and outs of each mod...finally go excited to use RotaryCraft, built the Blast Furnace, put it above lava...and this :) Crashed the server out twice :) I THINK it's related to rotarycraft, as it references some kind of check from dragonapi.isSinglePlayer. :)

    I want my blast furnace :) And subsequently other awesome schtuff.

    Quarries from Buildcraft are probably the easiest to wrap your head around. Supply power and it'll sort of do its thing.

    Want something more complex/requires thinking, RotaryCraft has a machine that also digs...but it's very complicated to set up the periphery power delivery system to even turn the stupid thing on ;) But sometimes I'm in the mood for that kind of thing :)
