1.13, Aquatic update. Coral, Sea Pickles, Turtle Eggs, Conduit, Buried Treasure Maps, etc., all still useful and fun. The challenge of diving a deep shipwreck and recovering the treasure and map, >then< following the map and getting >more< treasure is still one the the most enjoyable aspects of the current came, (for me).

Agreed. To passive/aggressively ignore the issue as a way of snubbing the Macverse is really quite childish at this point in the game. Mac users represent a huge market; just make the port and be done with it. There's room in the sandbox for both OSs.

An interesting question. For me it's Pillagers. I'm thankful Pillager raids can be disabled; I wish the same could be done for outposts too. I appreciate the challenge they introduce and those who find Pillagers fun, but for me they're a nuisance.

Does anyone really rely on Drowned as a source of gold? C'mon, seriously? I didn't think so. Surely a few hours mining Badlands terrain will generate plenty of gold for Piglin trading, and then some. Far, far more productive than hoping for a gold drop from a Drowned kill.

I thought the contents of the starting chest were always random. The actual contents will be similar from game to game and appropriate for a starting player, but I didn't think the actual content was keyed to the seed in in any way.

I haven't had chance to explore this seed myself, (LOL *). Where is the Zombie Village?
(* I am presently on the hunt for a really good stronghold seed. Ideally, a stronghold under desert, or even better, mesa. But also relatively shallow to minimize the digging. And also ideally nearish to a well laid out village).
Roughly 750 y -500.
Look at the AMIDST, it's near the pillager outpost.

"-2397601474324577736" Fantastic!!!! THANK YOU for getting back to us.
I was correct. Almost all randomly created seeds are 19 digits long.
Here's the Amidst map for "-2397601474324577736" with the mine in question located.

I think he should be able to place a glowy purple block like the ones inside the portal and just step into it.
I'm not really sure about the commands in the Bedrock edition, it should be something like:
/setblock ~ ~ ~2 end_portal
to place a portal block next to him.
I just tested and it worked fine for me.
I did some more testing and it turned out my first thought wasn't entirely wrong. :-)
If he builds a portal like the one he used to get to the End it should work to go back as well.
It seems to be just the glowy purple blocks that matter, the blocks around them are just to make the glowy blocks.

I really feel like everyone is overreacting about this whole migration thing. I know Microsoft have done some shady stuff in the past, but remember, Mojang even said that the game would not change at all. Also why wouldn't players want to play on Bedrock? IMO both versions have their flaws and advantages, for me the main advantage of Bedrock is the fact that you can play across platforms, something I would like to have and one of the main reasons why I would like to get Bedrock in the future. Also I can't stand how everyone just immediately assumed we were going to get micro-transactions in Java edition. I feel like people are just paranoid. Another thing, what do you mean by
"which means we can expect bugs, crashes and general disfunctions to occur"
Microsoft isn't changing anything in the actual game, they're changing the way you log in. I'm sorry but I don't agree with anything you've said in this post. I've seen some people claim Microsoft have held their accounts in ransom and other just awful stuff. I really can't believe any of this unless I see solid evidence. This post is all speculation and theorizing and the migration isn't even here yet. I suggest waiting until it actually happens before we actually start theorizing.

I'm not sure that villages will be created IN a Roofed Forest in 1.12.2. However they can be created right at the edge of one.
"2083409506302825704" has a village inn the edge of a Roofed Forest at -492, 820.
"-3908742317322711158" has a large Roofed Forest with a village at 612, -412.
"-7009909552476055530" has one at 564, -156.
"-6963842891210264536" has one close to spawn at 36, 372
I hope one of these meet your wants and needs.

Not really, but people usually like some information as to why a particular world is noteworthy.
That world surprised me upon spawning because of the high vertical "mountains" around the island where I first appeared.
