I wanted to start a new world in some the alpha versions of minecraft(feeling nostalgic). So,which version should i use.I want a version which retains all the nostalgic feeling of minecraft but also doesnt have lot of annoying bugs..
Like at some point you are addicted to it and play like 10 hours a day but after a few weeks/days you start loosing interest in it and don't play at all and again after some time you get addicted and this goes on and on like a loop.
This happens to me in minecraft and few other games so i keep swapping them.Does this happen to you too?
1)Bring lots of wood
2)Use iron tools
3)Always use some kind of path marking system to get back easily
Put in your tips here now :3
I took all your advises and tips and put in here and new tips will also be added :biggrin.gif:
4)Put all your torches on the right hand side of the walls of the caves, when u want to get out, follow the torches on your left side or vice-versa.
5)Always be wary of entrances high up where mobs can drop from.
6)Light up first, then mine ores.
7)When you find diamonds, ensure you are secure before mining them and mine them carefully following the Mining rules of thumb.
8)Follow the Mining rules of thumb (Don't mine straight up/down etc)
9)In complex caves/mine shaft systems, always use some sort of additional marker for paths leading out BESIDES the usual ones.
10)If possible, use surround headphones. It will be easier to hear baddies before they get to you, plus you will be able to hear where Dungeons are by listening for large amounts of spiders/ skeletons/ zombies.
11)Bring a compass, then if you get really lost just dig to the surface and follow it back to spawn.
12)A single diamond fortune pickaxe then a load of iron ones with a stack of wood to make more works good.
13) To save iron carry at least 4 stone pickaxes and 1 iron pick. Use the stone pick for mining and the iron one for ores alone.
14)Put a save chest before going into dark caves.
15)Get some extra blocks in case you fall down a hole.
16)Make paths over lava caverns with glass, that way you can see any ore underneath
