This is probably my favorite texture pack outside default packs that only fix the 'bad' textures (glass/cobble/etc). It is certainly well on its way to becoming a "new default", so great work!
Wow, this is awesome! EditCraft is the only texture pack I've been able to stand so far (default with glass/cobble/etc. fixes) but your pack is something I can actually see myself using. Thanks for this!
I can't seem to stack more than 2 food items without them immediately unstacking themselves and returning to their original position. Any ideas?
I have ModLoader v5 (grassfix), CJB's day/time counter, and iPeer's What's My Light Level? installed.
I just downloaded and tried a few texture packs for the first time, and I LOVE yours! it's perfect (I really do like the defaults, except for the blocks that you changed), thanks so much!
for you
EDIT: I like the gravel color, purple is my favorite, don't change it too much :wink.gif:
can i have master cheif, but i dont understand how i will get it...
You can download any skin on the skindex with the download button (it has a down arrow in it) on the right.
Once you've downloaded a skin you like, log in to minecraft.net and go to http://www.minecraft.net/skin/ and simply upload the skin file you've chosen. That's it!
My first post!
I use a slight variation of the standard cactus pit, which (so far) has been killing every mob with such success that they never make it to my glass lava room below... I guess it's a trade-off between entertainment and efficiency. :sad.gif:
Here goes my first attempt at a diagram, please bear with me:
Where blue wool are source blocks, water are also source blocks but 1 level lower. Signs go below to stop the water, with another water source at the bottom to neatly dispense the drops.
The original idea was taken from this video:
but after some chicken/pig escapades (even were surviving the cactus at first) I added the lower source blocks (since mobs swim up in source blocks) so now everything gets stuck up on that cactus. As the glass suggests, I like to watch my traps and it doesn't appear to be losing any drops, and although spiders occasionally involve some luring to deter climbing, they are killed as effectively as anything else once they fall in.
Hook it up to your standard canal system or spawner of choice and you're ready to go.
