All I can suggest is more torches, or be sure to close your door, or remove the pressure plate in front of you door if you have one there.
Have fun with the Sunburn Islands though, its a really good map.

@SushiMinecraft: OP means over-powered. In Minecraft terms it also means operational (i.e., access to commands and break/placing blocks in SMP).

    Ok thanks :)

    Day Two of Spellbound Caves!:
I am such a noob. Earlier today (although I didn't really have good equipment) I ragequit after being blown up about 7 times in the white wool dungeon. (but not like serious ragequit, like go-to-title-screen-and-shut-down-my-computer ragequit :) ) But discovered the VM, made a awesome balcony, inv. managed, set my spawn there, got the light blue wool, made a railway, another inv. management, and prepared myself for the Blackend Library. (I am really dreading that.)
    Also: what does OP mean?

    B-but I didn't even set the date yet... TT¬TT
I meant it would be at some Sunday or Saturday... Like... any weekend, not strictly the next one. TT¬TT

No no, no pixedl art, just a conventional, digital art stream.
I would be drawing something (for instance, something similar to my Bruce comic) and you guys would be able to interact, chat to each other, ask me questions and even give me ideas of what to draw.

It's pretty fun. Last time we ended up with me drawing Hybran as a pony.

Well unfortunately my internet connection doesn't stands something like LiveStream or TwitchTV, so I'll be using a software called Join.Me. Basically I'll share a link for a stream "channel" all the same, but such link will only work as long as I host it. As soon as the stream is over, a new link will have to be created and shared next time.

Ohhhh ok. :) I'll see if I can make it, it depends on what is the date.

Well done, but next time put it in spoilers : )

Jeez, this whole talk about spawners that spawns blocks is far away from my comprehension. =_='
While you guys talk about growing crystals and self-repairing walls, I'm still trying to take that idea in my mind. =_='

I'll be so completely and hopelessly lost at the new maps...

    Question time.
How many of you would be interested on joining a Minecraft art stream hosted by me?
I'll probably be working on a Vechs fan art I've had in mind for quite a while. It would also happen either at the 9PM (GMT -3) of a Sunday or of a Saturday.

Ugh. I would like to join you, but I'll be in Mexico at the time :( Sorry.

It would be amazing. But there would be no way to distinguish those spawners from regular mob spawners unless Dinnerbone added support for the ability to add extra data that would allow it to be silk touch'd or mined, instead of just regularly mined and destroyed for experience. Maybe a golden pickaxe with a limited number of uses with Silk Touch. All this cool stuff we wish for would be awesome if implemented. Although we could also wish for it as a mod, it'd have to be made by someone dedicated to keeping it updated.

If it were actually implemented into the vanilla game, it would probably be more stable no offense intended to those mod makers out there, and if it were a mod, someone would have to be good with coding (no duh, Sherlock) and would have to keep up with the mod and have a lot of time on their hands. I wish there were easy ways to get mob spawners, like you can pick them up, and maybe have them in creative inventory.

What would be amazing is if spawners could be picked up with a silk touch pick and moved while keeping their entity spawning data. It would be useful for super fast mob grinders and for movable turrets. :)

    o.o it's THE ColdFusionGaming.
    Sorry, fangirl moment.
I totally agree with you, that would be cool.

A forum thumbs up for you! ( I don't have a YouTUbe account)
    EDIT
Ok, finished the episode and you are a awesome Let's Player. BTW I hope you keep it up,and now I know I'm not the only one who sings morning when I wake up in Minecraft (or IRL but I don't know about you)

Day One of sushiminecraft's Spellbound Caves:
So today I decided to download Spellbound Caves, since it is considered a 'noob' map, what with all the lovely loot( And I am so totally a noob: I refuse to play on anything higher that easy and I get spooked easily) So far so good; I've got a wheat farm running, a base on the cenote, and some trees growing ( I got lucky with the saplings from the grass/dirt/starter wood area) I am not prepared for my first dungeon yet, hopefully by the third day at the most,I move slow. I have not used my Zistonian Battlesign yet, last time I had a encounter with a Zistonian Battlesign, I had just adjusted my controls, and placed it down instead of testing it on a spy chicken :(

    I read the PDF...
And I have to say this...
    IT'S CALLED MINECRAFT, NOT MINDCRAFT
    Also,
Excuse me if I'm wrong, (it's 3 am so my brain may not be functioning) but are they suing because mojang used Secuirty that belonged to them? IDK, but I've always thought that coping is a form of flattery....

Well, I've just finished my playthrough and recording of Kaizo Caverns... and here's what I got out of the final Wool Area (Citadel of Demons)

The Ghast and Cave spiders just after going from Planar Warp to the Citadel area kinda got me off guard, and after dealing with the ghosties, I had to retreat for a while due to the spiders.

When I came back, I'd gotten new gear, my ZB LVL 4 (Foolishly making me not bring a sword), and a buncha potions. The Cave spiders weren't much of a problem this time since I was able to avoid them, as well as the first half of the next room. The second half took some time to disable the Skele-Spawners, but those were gone quickly and I moved on. However, by the end of the room I was outta torches and down to glowstone (Fail)

The next room was just a swiftness potion and a general lack of caring for anything between me and the way forwards. Any possible loot in there is unknown to meh. I ran out of glowstone as well by the time I was through, leaving me with lava.

The Creeper Room was decently simple with the gradual progression of lighting and disabling spawners using lava's normally annoying trait of not going away. I was pretty happy to find coal in the Creeper Statues for torches.

The Diamond Mine wasn't at all a problem, since I mined out what I needed at the start before bridging to the only chest I could see, using lava on the way, and I wound up in the last corridor.

    ...Last room... Madness D:
Eeeeeeverything was perfectly fine until I went for the Obsidian Strut to get on the Bedrock Area, since that's when ghasts started spawning like crazy and at times I could hardly move since I was being thrown around by ghast-bombs all the time until I got into the pit on the way to the wool, taking out the Blaze spawners that I saw. Once I'd gotten the wool, things only got more hectic, since now instead of trying to get into a hole in the middle of Ghast-Attacks, I was trying to get out (The resulting panic also caused me to misclick and place my ZBSLVL4 instead of a torch, making me have no weapon). Eventually, I managed to get out of the pit long enough to get a good aim at the exit, using an Ender Pearl to finally get out of that mess.

And after all that.... It took me another half hour to find the Grey Wool xD **Made the ending to the map soooo anti-climatic** xD

    Man, I love your avatar.

I like experimenting with different styles of map-making, so I have TMI installed, bu I don't use it for cheats, I feel it takes fun away from Minecraft.
