Hey guys, i have been working on a texture pack but i just don't feel like making any new textures so im going to put my terrain file up to download so anyone can use. Anybody can use the textures i have already made, or just continue finishing the one i started. There's
no theme, i was just trying to make a nice looking one so yeah.

Hey im thinking of figuring how to make a mod for minecraft but you just have to know one thing before you can. And that is does minecraft run on java or javascript if its the same, (i know its a different language) which one is easier?
Hey guys so me and my friend were thinking about making mods for minecraft even thought neither of us have any java experience except my friend makes mods for GTA 4 and such, so i was wondering if someone would like to make a mod like this.
Idea:
1. A new type of tree that is rare and can only be chopped down with a gold ax, and once you get the wood, you can only make a door with it. When you make a door with this wood using the vanilla minecraft door recipe, then you will receive 2 doors. And what these doors do, are they are teleporters like in team fortress 2. You place one door one place and place another somewhere else and once you go through one of the doors, it brings you to this room which is two blocks high, one block wide, and the lenght is about 15 blocks. At the end of the room is a door and once you go through you come out the other door you placed with the rare wood. The room thats 15 blocks in length will be obsidian. And yes this idea is from the book the dark towers by Stephen King.
2. the second mod idea seems rather simple, instead of zombies dropping feathers, they drop a meat called "Infected Meat", and if you eat it you gain 5 hearts but over time you lose a half of a heart untill your dead. But if you take 2 infected meats and put them in a workbench, as if you were making a sword but instead of a stick you use a string, and instead of the other two minerals you use the infected meat. What this item does is, you right click with it and it gets flung and actracts all mobs and they walk towards it kind of like a monkey bomb from Call of Duty Zombies.
Now it would be really cool if someone made this mod and if they do i am willing to do the skins as long as you tell me where to make them lol. K PEACE!
Yo cool idea, i actually have been wanting to make a mod for a while and if its cool with you then i found a new idea for a mod. Im new to modding so it will take some time and i think ill make it so every 30 minecraft days, theres a new season. Summer- Barely any rain and day is longer then night. Spring- It rains a **** load and days are normal.
Winter- It snows once in a while but when it snows all the grass and trees turn snowy and night is longer then day. Fall- is what your thread says!

Hey guys I've been installing mods into minecraft for a few months now and all the mods worked. But now there all crashing my game. I don't know what to do. I'm a mac guy for the heads up. I open minecraft.jar with archive compressor and open up the minecraft folder, put in the required base mod then the mod i want. Then i delete the Meta-inf folder and then select all the folders left in the minecraft folder and hit compress. So now i have archive.zip. i put that in the bin folder and rename it to minecraft.jar and rename the original jar 1minecraft.jar just incase it crashes so WHAT AM I DOING WRONGSDOHBIEUFDOSGYPUSHAPUH MEOW
