Yeah, that's a really great way to implement slow motion in multiplayer, I hadn't though of that!

You have two hands out at all times when the mod is installed, and the 'running cam' happens whenever the player sprints.

Is there a way to stop the view bobbing side to side when you sprint yet?

posted a message on Vanilla Expansion Mod: Adding more without changing the feel of the game
I think you'd benefit more from working on this privately, it must be both fun, and hard learn to create a mod, and I certainly can't.

That said, I don't think anyone is going to want to play this, the things you have added upset the balance of vanilla, and don't actually make much sense. I'm sure you could learn to make more advanced mods with interesting functionality from working on something like this.

Focusing on weapons seems like a great idea. They are incredibly well done. Another thing about crafting weapons would be having them differentiated in some way. IE, after the work you put into making an sword, it will feel more like your sword if it is different to everyone elses' swords. Also, might the name forgecraft be possibly confused with, you know, forgecraft?

    Keep up the good work!

Terrafirmacraft did something like this, and it is open-source, so you could have a look into what they've done.
Would compatibility with Battlegear 2 be possible for the sword and shield? A lot of mods have tried to reinvent the wheel for dual wielding and sword-and-board combat, where battlegear has a good API, and does the system very well indeed.

Are there any plans for third person animations?

Is compatibility with battlegear possible? After all the more important things like multiplayer animations and such?

It has been done with GLSL shaders, OpenGL is probably possible too, but what advantages would it give over the currently existing GLSL ones?

Er, there isn't anything here, just things saying awaiting a kind donation. I hope you don't expect to have other people come along and code the mod for you and get donations.

Could we get an option to disable the swaying in the run animation? I find it quite nauseous. I love the rest of the mod though.

I have almost no coding experience, so I would be hardly a good person for that, however I consider myself a fairly accomplished writer, and would be happy to write quests and likewise things.

Another thing I was wondering, which on hindsight must be fairly annoying since you plan to drop support is could you work on antique atlas support? Sorry if any of this has annoyed you, and I hope you continue work on this.

    posted a message on MinecraftServerDeals LLC 2015 SALE! Unique Systems|160+ Modpacks Ready|TX & EU|$3.95/GB Budget/$9.95/GB-SSD Premium Since 2012
So. I have rented with these guys for almost a year, on a premium 1GB plan, before my cancellation. A staff member suggested I leave a review, so here are my full impressions over the time.

When I first bought the service, payment was fine, and I was immediately granted with the details to access the panel and FTP instantly. The server itself came online about a day later; slightly later than I would have liked, but not a problem. They offer a choice of control panel, which was nice. I bought the panel to run on the latest snapshot, and test my own private modpack. The server feature list offered custom JARs, and snapshots as features, custom JARs being the main reason I chose the service. Sadly, custom JARs was a slightly sneaky thing to say. I assumed I would be able to upload a JAR the same way I might choose one of their modpacks. Upon asking how to do this, they told me to manually do it with the FTP, which was so daunting, I didn't end up doing that. The snapshots, however ran fine on the server. There was almost no lag from any of the people on the server, of which we topped out at 5. Uploading and downloading worlds was extremely easy, and we never had a problem with it. Management was also fine, and I rarely struggled with it. The one problem I did have with, however is the way to select snapshots was simply one selector, saying snapshot. It did not allow you to choose which snapshot, which was a fairly vital part of the thing. The snapshot preset also rarely updated, for example snapshot 14w21a became available on the website almost 2 weeks after it came out.

Their website is probably the most confusing thing since MC Esher. It is incredibly illogical, and can take an age to get to the page you want to. I recommend saving links to all the pages you want to use.

Overall, I would probably recommend them. They are better than most of the server hosts I have used, and do alot for a very good price, but their website needs some re-doing
