To be fair isn't it the responsibility of the people installing the mods to know what they're installing and not the other way around? Besides he didn't even mention that mod, so people who don't use mods or even that specific mod, who can blame them for being skeptical or accusing him of being misleading since he was silly enough to pass it off as normal minecraft generation.
Yes, yes, of course it is. He should have known what he was installing, there is no doubt about that (although that particular feature is not mentioned anywhere in the mod page, but that is the mod fault, to be fair)
What I was trying to say is that I found really extrange that from a full page of responses, not a single person knew about this feature. Maybe I explained myself really, really bad. In my defense, I can only say that it is hard to explain what you are trying to say perfectly when you are not speaking your own language...
You're both right. I was silly not to mention BWG mod in the opening post, but the BWG mod page didn't mention a thing about darn creeper spawners, so I thought to ask Forums And I feel you there Villanelo, I'm not native English speaker either, so sometimes explaining stuff is so damn hard. You did great job imo.
Now we might just let this subject be.

No problem =)
And to be honest, I don't think the creeper spawners are even mentioned in the BWG page, so... I only knew about this because I encountered a spawner myself
Haha! It was a shock for me... Fun stuff.

My god, I would believe that some people in this forum are used to use mods, but apparently, most people don't even know what the mods really do.
Yes, that is totally legit. No, he did not spawn that there.
What he didn't tell, though, was that he was using the Better World Generation mod. That mod improves (a lot) the terrain generation of Minecraft, adds a few new biomes, change the old ones... and as a little surprise, it changes the cave and mineshaft generation too. And yes, the mod adds creeper spawners. And yes, they are incredibly hard to "conquer" if you want to keep the spawner. I have found 3 of these spawners... and only 1 of them survived my attemp.
So people, please, get your facts right before accusing other people.
THANK YOU! I indeed have BWG installed, and I didn't even know it does such a thing. Thanks for the answer, I think we're all done here.
Maybe next time I'll read through the whole list of features when installing new mods.
Thanks a bunch.

---although I think you're just trolling, make a grinder out of it.
Glitches make shat happen sometimes.
Indeed they do. I had some happening on that map earlier.
And don't think I'm a troll :c I was surprised less when I found that.
Okay so the options are a) glitch b ) mod I'm not aware of.

Creeper spawners cannot be found it might be something to do with one of your mods
Possibly. That would seem plausible.
Also, do you honestly think I'd be childish enough to do a fake post "OMG I FUND CREEPUH SPAWNERZ!1!" ?
Okay you might do that.
Point is, this is strange.
Nov 2, 2012The utmost insane thing whole day. Nothing quite like it.Posted in: Survival Mode
Anyone else met one of THESE:
I'm using legit minecraft with some minor mods (Minimap, sprintmod) but nothing that would do ANYTHING like this I kept screaming for a while when I found this.
Also, loot was rather nice.
Nothing quite like an explodefest in the late afternoon.
Also, I did search for these, but didn't find any threads/wiki was useless.

Today I was playing my single player world, and when my brother came home I thought myself: "Hmm, maybe if we tried to play in LAN with my account, that can't be bad, right?". So I opened my map to LAN (didn't save, of course, I thought autosave was on), and my bro logged in from another computer. Well that didn't work, as I logged out from my computer and he got in. When I reloaded my map, all my new stuff was missing and I had only my older stuff on (the stuff I started with today). The strange thing is, the map was the same as it was when I got kicked out (apparently you can't play minecraft with same account on the same server ;P). All the stuff I had dug out, all the stuff I had collected was gone. The kick-out had only reset my inventory. The reason why this pissed me off was that I had hit a jackpot dungeon (Chaimail armor and two music discs).
If someone understood, is there anything possible to do to fix this?
If not, don't try the same I did. Lesson learned.
Nov 1, 2012You could search for a 3rd party program that would allow you to a) check you map if its okay change your (spawn)position. I have an itch that I've seen such software, but I can't recall any names. Does this happen to your friend too?Posted in: Unmodified Minecraft Client Support
Nov 1, 2012Hmmm. That's quite interesting. I've had some lighting issues after 1.4.2, but nothing quite like this. You could try another texture pack if that would help. I think this bug is in 1.4.2 itself, and not in your software.Posted in: Unmodified Minecraft Client Support

Eating cinnamon Altoids is like eating Satan's eyes.
Eating the eyes of Satan has never been this enjoyable.
Omnomnom. I've been eating cinnamon ones all day long. Yummy! Going to get Penguin mints soon. Am I... mint-holic? Looks like it.

Place one in water. There's one damn fine mint.
Gotta try that one.
