Alright I've done that. Is that it? Also thanks I'll try to remember that.

That should be it. Test it and see if the issue is resolved.

Could it have anything to do with the Mojang server issues? Would something like that prevent files from being downloaded?

No. The session server is separate from the download server.

Minecraft is timing out on its final file. Keep retrying and it should eventually launch.

If you're using a wireless connection, try using a wired connection instead.

We need to see what is in your Launcher Log, which can be found on the second tab of the launcher.
First, copy all of the text (right click on any empty space, press 'Copy All Text'). Then, paste the text you've copied in spoiler tags in a reply.

    How Do I enable MiniDumps

Enabling minidumps has nothing to do with this issue.

If this issue occurs when you load a world or join a server, try disabling VBOs in Options > Video Settings.

If this issue occurs when you start the game, then post a DxDiag log, in spoiler tags, as shown: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/unmodified-minecraft-client/tutorials-and-faqs/1871677-obtaining-a-dxdiag-log

I got onto my server and was making maps so I decided to make a few larger maps then I crashed after I started putting paper in the crafting table, I didn't even put in the map yet

Does this crash now occur whenever you join the server, or is it a one-off crash?

If it's continually occurring, then you may wish to ensure you're running the latest version of Spigot & the Minecraft client.

thank you but now I don't have an antivirus system. and Also how long does this take

Uninstalling a program can take several minutes.

After uninstalling and restarting, ensure your problem is resolved. If it has been fixed, then feel free to install an alternative antivirus solution, such as Avast.

Page doesn't exist. That's what Chrome said, and it was the same on Firefox.

Please confirm if you can open this link, as it should not state the page does not exist: https://libraries.minecraft.net/net/minecraft/launchwrapper/1.7/launchwrapper-1.7.jar

If it definitely says the page does not exist, then we'll require a HijackThis log to look further.

If you're on Windows 7, go to Start > Control Panel, search 'Programs and Features' and select the 'Programs and Features' result.

If you're on Windows 8 or 8.1, go to the Start screen, start typing Control Panel, select the search result that appears, then in the Control Panel window, search for 'Programs and Features' and select the result.

Then, look for McAfee, select it and uninstall it.

Do I just right click and delete it? Or is there a more complex way of doing it.

You need to uninstall it through Programs and Features in Control Panel. Alternatively, you can use McAfee's removal tool: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

I saw A video that said that McAfee could also be doing this and I wanted to know if you know anything about this. Could it possibly be interfering with my minecraft?

Yes, McAfee is known to interfere with Minecraft, and at this time the only known solution is to remove it.

You could try downloading the file on another device, then copying it over using a memory stick.

Alternatively, you could try uninstalling AVG and then downloading the file to see if that works.

Out of interest, on the other browser(s) you tried, what message did you receive?
