Hi everyone,

My son plays this game and has never been able to play this game to its end. It always crashes on him. I am trying to figure out whats wrong with it.

His computer has Windows Pro 64 bit OS

32 GB RAM

Video Card nVidia RTX 3070 with most updated driver.

I tried to re-install minecraft but that didnt resolve althought it did allow him to play little longer than usual before the crash. When crash occurs there is no error showing it simply just closes.

Any help would be much appreciated. If you have any questions please let me know.

for each version of the mod I have to install forge

so for mod - > Minecraft 1.10.2 download forge 1.10.2

for mod - Minecraft 1.8 download force 1.8 version??

So I should download forge version 1.11.2? If so how does that make it compatible with mods version 1.10.2 for example?

No I do not have forge installed. Your instruction from above doesn't say I need to install forge.

What version of the forge I need to instal?

do i install version that match my current minecraft version 1.11.2 or

do I install version that match the version of the mod I am interested in?

I downloaded mod for 1.11.2. I typed %appdata% and inside .minecraft directory there were some other directories like "asses" etc but no mod directory.

I was confused by that so I created directoy "mod" and placed earlier downloaded mod.

I started the game and didn't get any errors or anything but nothing from that mod either.

Side question. Some mods versions are show as 1.11 while some are shown as 1.11.2. Since my son minecraft version is 1.11.2 can he also use mods that are marked as 1.11???

ok make sense only couple things i would like to ask...

I checked version of his minecraft...it is 11.1.X and it is running on windows 10 OS.

Does this mean I can download this mod -> http://www.minecraftmods.com/deep-pockets/ or any other mod that shows "Minecraft 11.1" and just follow
