posted a message on Theme Song For A MineCraft Book
Hello everyone! Just finished this song for my friends MineCraft book. You can learn more about it here- http://saqwerty.wordpress.com/. He's a pretty cool guy.

It took me about 2 weeks to make this song, working on it about everyday at a fairly consistent rate. It's both Orchestral, chiptune, and just regular techno or rather 'edm' as a more favorable word. I tried going out my comfort zone by working on creepy ambient soundscapes which is apparent throughout the intro of the song, which slowly transcends into a more up-beat and dance feel. The lead during the climax is actually a combination of both layered string ensembles, and a flute (low passed) and 2 layered 8-bit saw wave sounds (high passed) to make the lead itself. Cause I wanted to maintain the original nature of it being an orchestral song, while also passing as chiptune :)

This is the description that I had to work off of:
"I'm requesting if you could make a theme song for the character Audicia.
(If you're gonna go for it then continue reading)

So, in order to do a song about someone you'd need to know something about them. Well, Audicia is very troubled, constantly battling with a demon inside him named Feim. All throughout the story he's working with the main cast 'The Blood Dragons' and as we go through the story, Audicia starts to rise in power, eventually, the demon starts to take control and he begins killing all of the Blood Dragons, even a girl named Insania (who is the only other Icevian (a race) in existence). He even kills Metalqui (Jacob), however this whole time he's trying to kill Deslight (Austin). After this huge war erupts out between the two of them. Audicia emerges as a demigod. But, sustaining immense injuries, both Deslight and Audicia "die". (Audicia banishes himself to a place "unknown".)

So basically. What I mean to say here is. If you were to do anything. It'd have to be like a really eerie, and creepy ambient sound, with a sort of chill and windish feel to it.
But as it progresses things start to get more intense.
Sort of like that one sound from 'Kill Bill'.
Just kinda the whole song is eerie as hell until it all builds up to the part where all hell breaks loose. (Where there you could just imagine a huge ass fight scene with music to go with).
I don't really know the best way I can explain it here. If you need more please tell.
Hope to hear from you soon."

So please tell me what you guys think, and thank you for listening!

posted a message on Rapteroid - A synthetic dinosaur
This is a song I spent 3 weeks non-stop on. If you like dubstep, chiptune, and techno in general you will like this song (hopefully). I rap in it to! So if you haven't already check it out, it means a lot :D I don't why but I choose a robotic dinosaur as a theme, just cause what's cooler than a robotic rapter?!?!

I've been making music over 3 years now, and this is somewhere around my 50th song. (quit counting) If you end up actually liking Rapteroid and want to hear more I recommend checking out worlds beyond, or electric city thrills. I do this purely as a hobby, and all my music is 100% free to download. So enjoy your listen, and thanks for actually giving a $hit!

posted a message on Help Me Make My New Song
Thanks, I listened to some of the songs on your youtube channel and being the experienced music producer and critic that I am I thought I'd offer some advice. Find drums... Lol your techno songs have amazing leads, but without any percussion it's sort of not techno (I think). Or maybe you've created a new genre altogether...Just Leads. Don't know, but thanks for listening and keep up your work. I subbed btw ;)

LISTEN TO MY SONG USING THE LINK BELOW

Alright, so I've been working super hard on my next song Till The Sun Sets, and if you don't by now I've been making electronic music for over 3 years. I think this is my 45th song, but I could be wrong. Anyways,

I love feedback, and constructive criticism. Suggest something you'd like to see in the song, and who knows maybe I'll put it in there. The genre I'm specifically working in is Chip tune, Orchestral, and obviously dubstep (my fave XD). The Tempo is 124 bpm, which is actually kinda slow for usual dubstep, and some notable software I'm using is Ni Massive, tb_peach, bunch of DSK synths, and GMS. Effects wise I'm really just playing around with a bunch of stuff like Effector, dblue glitch, sumo distortion, camel audio crusher, bitcrushers, Tal chorus, Up stereo (This is seriously good for widening anything in your mix!) and hundreds of other effects I forgot.

Hope you like the song, and remember I love criticism. I've posted on enough forums to be bombarded by trolls who just don't give a $hit, and know the difference between helpful and purely lathargic advice. Don't be that guy. Thanks for listening :D !!!

posted a message on Apple Trees
I actually think this is a great idea for two reasons. Apples are pretty common and ordinarily especially when one is a high level and uses pork and steak as main food source (ultimately healing potion). Playing Minecraft now I find apples completely useless unless I've ran out of everything to eat and apples are my last reserve. So that brings me to my point. I think it would give the game more variety, and actually make it more engaging to find apples from apple trees. Second, there would be more wood planks and another type of sapling which could usher in a new biome to expand the game's diversity.

posted a message on Better Wolf AI
This apply's to booth Xbox and PC version, I have a problem with wolves. particularly when taming one. I love how hypergenic and active they're in the wild, but after friending one this behavior gets very annoying. Its like it has ADHD. Seriously, he can never sit still and ends up falling off cliffs eventually killing itself. Frustrating, especially when placing blocks and going through 1 block width openings like a door, it's always in the way, and when fighting mobs I often accidentally hit it. I know you can left trigger to have a wolf sit, but sometimes I forget to make him active again when I'm in situations where I need one. Here are some of my suggestions, and I hope you guys have some to.

-Calmer state after taming: After taming a wolf they should become more calm. Not so calm that it just sits and watches you, but slows the roll and doesn't run around crazily jumping and and climbing things. Maybe have it walk around less and just a tad slower.
-Bark less: Another problem I think needs to be fixed. I can understand wolves barking a to alert the player one is nearby, but after taming one I don't want to have be reminded its nearby all the time. It should bark more periodically rather than constantly.
-Become alert when enemies are nearby: One occasion where I would be fine with my wolves hyperness, and I think it would be more realistic while also hinting the player enemies are nearby.
-Be able to call your wolf: Just like in the game Assassin's Creed, instead of realizing you left your buddy behind and having to go find him, let him find you.
-A food bowl: I think it would be neat to set down a food bowl that the wolf can automatically go eat when in a certain proximity (like a home) and regenerate its health.
-Dye your wolves fur: Ok, this one's a little out there, but imagine dyeing your wolf green or blue... Awesome!
-Wolves have the ability to wear armor: Common sense
-Wolfs evolve to ware wolves: haha, that would be cool...

So, what are your thoughts and suggestion? Would you like to see less annoying wolves?
