    posted a message on What are my NPCs and mobs doing??? Help!

    Hi!


    Im pretty new to this map making thing. I'm working on my second map, which is a "ways to die". The levels are all well separated from each other, but if I place ANY 1) NPCs, 2) mobs (neutral, friendly, or aggressive - even using spawners), or 3) armor stands, *every time* I exit and then come back to work, all of them, from every level, somehow end up in another level, on a beach.


    I do not have any /tp triggers anywhere in any level, just the lobby.


    They dont move while Im actively in the map, just when I exit and come back in.


    I'm using 1.14.4 with just WorldEdit (Forge).


    Has anyone had this happen?



    Help???


    Making NPCs with blocks and player heads looks stupid. Im not doing *anything* fancy, no trades, no dialogue, etc.


    everything moves from the levels with a red arrow to the level with the black arrow, on a narrow strip of sand. I know it's ugly. Im working on it.

    The command blocks work, it's actually drinking the potion that doesnt do what it is supposed to (kill the player)


    It's only malfunctioning on realms for some odd reason. It works in survival, adventure, etc on my computer and if I bring beta testers on LAN, but realms....

    Hi!


    My kids have been playing a lot, and are bored with building, so I tried my hand at a custom "find the button" map in 1.14.4. It's not modded, resource-packed, or anything, but I think it's still fun. Its been awhile since Ive done coding (about 18 years), so it's nothing fancy.


    I have made a custom instakill potion, and it works on my computer, but when I upload it to my Realm, it doesn't do anything. Im not sure why?

    you spawn almost standing on a shipwreck, there are a few scattered islands, SURROUNDED by beautiful coral reefs in all directions. There are several shipwrecks, and nearby there is tundra, spruce forest, and swamp.


    I had built a bit before I decided to take screenshots, so please excuse the scavenged wreck :)

    This was a nice surprise!


    At spawn:

    Ocean, desert, plains, swamp, savanna, and wooded badlands plateau.


    Also, a desert village that crosses into the badlands and savanna at -255, -7


    PLUS, the village has a temple right in the middle of it!

    ROFL!


    no, I mean a real fish. my daughter's betta got finrot and his tank started leaking like a sieve, so I had to put him in a new tank, treat the finrot and now Im doing daily water changes and testing because my nitrogen cycle crashed.


    I even had a fish vet phone consult.


    I've also built an aquarium room in game before, but the server its on is down right now. it had clownfish, but no squid. Those guys commit suicide WAAAAY too often. :)

    yes. Ive had that going on for the last several snapshots. Its actually a TINY bit better with this one for me. But Ive been playing survival and hardly ANY mobs, even in caves and staying up all night.

    TP to the nearest village (-512, 32).


    The village is only 3 houses with 2 villagers, both blacksmiths of one sort or another. 2/3 have chests, and there is a shipwreck with 2 chests just off the coast.

    The island has plains and taiga.


    neat setup for a clash of clans type game.
