Necro post. It seems your three year prediction was false OP, as three years later the game is still trucking along. I never play minecraft anymore, grew stale, and the stuff their now adding seems trivial and useless, but all good things must come to an end. Anyway this really is a double necro because I'm also posting this with the forum account I abandoned three years ago, and I will probably never post again.
Fun fact: if you craft a already made map with 8 more pieces of paper it will be zoomed out. You can do this 4 times for approximately double the original the map size.
seems legit to me, considering enchanting is an end game thing, which you'd have a lot of levels, and if you're using it for just repairing mid game it will cost less.
No... I dislike them. It may be helpful for adventure maps, but i still think they arent part of the survival aspect. So...
No!
Why don't you tell me what it takes away from the survival aspect that would make you dislike it so much? If anything it adds a new aspect to survival that if you don't defend your villagers it becomes an infected town.
I don't see what your pointless argument is, there's no way that this is going to change anyone's mind with your biased post, you just made people mad.
There's also a simple solution for your problem, find a seed for a large biome that's located in a forest and you will never see any of those obscure biomes.
I couldn't see anything in the video, just choppy walking around through a cave and then you died a minute later. You might want to mod in a spawn egg for these and do a better video.
This was said a million times, the adventure update was completely separate form adventure mode. The adventure update was to promote adventure for the player, not to add a mode to the game, and it was never said, ever, that they were adding a mode during that update. People got the idea because back in Alpha Notch said he wanted to add some sort of adventure mode, but that was just speculation and never happened under his control.
Never thought I'd have to explain that to someone again.
But anyway, right now adventure mode is sort of like dwarf fortress's adventure mode, there, but not really the game's purpose.
Well, as you might have inferred, this topic is going to be about adventurer mode, which I'm pretty excited about. In its current state, its sort of like dwarf fortress adventurer mode, and I like that direction. But you never know, it might end up just being a dungeon crawler.
Now more to the point of the topic, what kinds of things do you want for this adventurer mode? I like the dwarf fortress adventurer mode, where you can interact with the towns and get quests, or just be a **** and kill everything. I'd like villages to have more loot if you so choose to be evil, but they guard it whit their lives if you attempt to steal it. I'd also like npc's to give uest to make more of a purpose.

I think he would probably prefer to play team fortress 2, which is another game brony's ruined. Lets hope minecraft doesn't get to that point.

Or a humanoid animal... Sorry, I hate both.

The nether brick golems would have five hearts, and do 1 heart of damage.
