I use MPM on my server and I ran into a problem that I would like to get fixed as soon as possible or at least in the next update.
I use the herochat plugin and I discovered that players with MPM are able to use chat bubbles to see what I say even though I am speaking in a channel that is meant for staff members only. I fear for the privacy for my in-game staff chat. please fix.
The Optifine Custom Items Feature has caused be quite a bit of issues ever since I updated my server and texture pack to 1.12. All of my custom alternate item textures stopped working for no apparent reason. Before I updated to 1.12 I was using 1.10 for my texture pack and server; all of my alternate textures were working perfectly.
After Days of trying to figure out what was wrong with Optifine and my texture pack I finally figured out the problem for the most part.
First, We can no longer create sub folders in the CIT to organize our alternate textures. I discovered that my alternate textures were not working because Optifine no longer read my sub folders, instead I have to put all of our alternate textures into CIT folder to get Optifine to recognize them.
Before:
\assets\minecraft\mcpatcher\cit\Weapons\Guns\
I would have Separate folders for Guns, Melee Weapons, Armor.
After:
\assets\minecraft\mcpatcher\cit\
All the Guns, Melee Weapons, Armor are now all mixed together. Lack of organization
Second, After I moved all my textures to the CIT folders I then realized that not all of my textures were working still. It took me awhile to figure out. I had to compare the ones that were not working with the ones that were and I noticed: The Textures that had lowercase lowercase.png files were working and the ones had uppercase Uppercase.png files did not work. So, now I have to go through and rename all of the textures that have uppercase names.
