Anyway, I have Mo' Creatures installed without CMS. In this case, do I still need to turn all the spawn rates down to 1 in Mo' Creatures config? One last question is that, do I need to turn off the vanilla spawn system by using the "doMobSpawning false" command, in order for MSC2 to run properly?

    On version 5.1.11 a Japanese village's merchant went "missing" and the merchant capacity of his hut got turned into 0. It seems that villagers randomly going "missing" is still a thing in this mod.

    The times have admittedly changed quite a bit, I say the matchlock rifle like the one found in Balkon's Weapon's mod, or the now disbanded Minegunner would be ideal.

    Do you have the proper version of Forge installed and are you playing with a profile configured for said forge version?

    Sorry to be such a nuisance but how exactly do you do a wall jump when at ground level? I can pull one off while falling ten blocks down, but not at ground level...

    EDIT:Disregard I decided to fiddle with the settings and made it easier to pull off.

    100% agreed, even a 50 or so pages back people would just pop in and not read the damn thread. Now all of the in depth discussions, suggestions, statistics and arguments myself as well as many users have done has gone to waste. It doesn't help that Notch's presence isn't felt as much as it used to like in the old days either.

    The thread has gone from a place where anyone can discuss this hot topic, to a containment thread.

    Saw a pseudo-Q&A you did ITT and it said that at the time you didn't like the idea of adding wallrunning since it's too complicated and there's very little pay off involved.

    I would just like to show you these old videosof Tipaa's now defunct mod so you may reconsider.




    It's understandable if you still oppose the idea though, since it's your mod, and your spare time as well.

    I've got a simple solution, why not make an item called Sword and Shield? It's essentially a sword and a shield! The trick is, is that when you attack an opponent the item does nothing and you're vulnerable to attack, but when you don't attack an opponent it protects you until the item breaks. Once the item breaks you're left with a sword that only has half of its health. Recipe is the following

    A=sword
    X=material used to build shield
    0=empty slot

    AX0
    XXX
    0XX

    Oh and the Sword and Shield components have to be made with the same materials, or if the OP wants we can mix and match things and make them interesting.
