But for the amount needed to process ore, it won't be that small. So it will be a liquid and I doubt you're gonna process ore in the mountains.
Seeing as your going to be pedantic about this lets break down real word with a minecraft world.
In minecraft sea level is Y=64. Max build height it Y=256. So your actual altitude at max build height is 192 ( 256 - 64 ). Each block = 1 meter.
For real life ( taking this as a guide/source ) 1,500 meters is considered high altitude.
For every 1 meter (up one block) in ratio from minecraft to real life is ~7.8 meters. To be at a high enough altitude for dew point to take affect is ~38 blocks above seal level - so for dew point to apply in minecraft all you need to do is build at Y=102 and dew point applies.
Or we can treat minecraft as a fictional game with fun mecahnics to play with without needing to be pedantic about things that really doesn't matter at the end of the day.......
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you have Sulfuric Acid as a Gas when in the real world, it can only exist as a liquid and that's chemistry 101 - any acid can only be a liquid. Please update Mekanism to reflect this - thanks!
Actually in small enough concentrations and at a high enough altitiue Sulfuric Acid can be a gas, its call the dew point.
My friend is having an issue running RotaryCraft, we have the same installation (A private modpack we made) and it works on my computer but not his. This exact crash report was posted a page ago but the solution of adding -Dfile.encoding=utf-8to the JVM arguments did not work for him. We've tried several other things like changing the java version, and editing trans.xml's format but still the crash continues to happen. He was last able to play the modpack a few months ago when it was running the previous version of RotaryCraft.
Hey Reika, iv'e been making a pack, at first it was going to be for personal use, but like, i feel that ppl would enjoy it aswell. The thing is i made, some recipe changes to create a new tech tree (like using bc additions's gilded red metal ingot instead of gold in some recipes, and making the fusion reactor parts, require tritanium ingots from matter overdrive instead of HSLA steel). Iv'e been playing with your mods since 1.6.4 so i have some experience. And i would like your permission to publish it on twich. Thanks for the attention, and for the great mods u made.(sorry for bad english, not my first lenguage)
*Technically* if someone just used your mods they would be pretty limited in ways to clear out rooms for machines n stuff.
(but then your mods are huge and it's easy to miss some blocks in it . . .)
That is exactly what happened during the whole 1.9 - 1.10 - 1.11 - early 1.12 modding progression. Many mods tried to "take over" what other mods did when they didn't progress past 1.7.10. So if you made a modpack (personal or otherwise) you had to decide which mod did X better and disable/remove the others replacements. Most came back to late 1.12 but still the other mods had all that extra "fluff" added that just made bloat.
What I like is mods that set to a specific task/job. ReactorCraft does exactly that. Deals with creating, maintaining and building reactors of all kinds.
And as Reika stated, people have TiC for that (AOE mining).
What is the general process for playing an older mod, like Steve's Galaxy?
My first attempt was downloading the Steve's server files from the technicpack site. The server launched fine. I then made my minecraft client launch using 1.7.10. But when I attempt to connect to the server, the cmd window was showing errors with the message "Unexpected packet during modded negotiation".
That isn't a mod, its a modpack.
And as always - log or it never happened.
Supply the log via a paste service (pastebin, gist, paste.ee etc) or enclose the log within spoiler tags.
In the natura config I think there is an option to disable redwood trees. You'll have to go digging for it as I don't use Natura anymore (personal preferences).

Did you take the time to read the wiki about it? https://wiki.aidancbrady.com/wiki/Digital_Miner

So correct yourself...

When you make changes follow https://sites.google.com/site/reikasminecraft/modifications
Also follow https://sites.google.com/site/reikasminecraft/pack-permissions-and-rules - and as you stated you want to put the pack on Twitch/Curse you will need full permission beforehand (public pack)

First of all;
Never post a wall of text like that.
Always wrap it in a spoiler tag, or use a paste service like pastebin, hastebin, github gist. The list goes on.
Hint: use Ctrl+F and search for "UE"

Nothing wrong with your java, more then likley you are using a certain language/s and a certain os that has issues with codepages.
You can add
permanently to your launch options. If you use MultiMC enter them into the global java settings.

Thermos/Non Forge will never be supported by Reika. Don't even ask lol

You answered yourself right there.
You don't "open" the "forge file", it gets run with java via command line.
As to how - there are many documents, youtube and wikis on how to do that - just search/google/duckduckgo/etc
