posted a message on Error during LAN Multiplayer

Hello, I am encountering an issue when I try to host my world to LAN. (this is on java)

I own a windows PC and my sibling uses a mac, when they host a world to LAN on the mac, I can join without issue, but when I host a world, they cannot join, this error shows up: "io.netty.channel.ConnectionTimeoutException: the connection has timed out" I did some research and tried multiple methods, most common one was to disable the firewall/allow java to bypass the firewall, but the firewall on the mac is already off, I double-checked to see if the IP address was incorrect, it was fine. I even reset our router, but that didn't do anything. So now I'm completely stumped on what to do, I have barely used a mac before so I don't know if there's something I need to do on there or not. Any help would be appreciated, as we wouldn't want to be forced to have only one person the ability to host a world.

posted a message on Enderman XP farms are OP

This is one of the reasons why you should ABSOLUTELY have an enderman xp farm in all of your survival worlds

(1 - not that hard to build

    (2 - unlimited enderpearls

(3 - lvl 30+ in under an hour

(4 - you can have all the enchanted gear you want

my farm isn't pretty looking, but it boasts great reward, definitely beat my skeleton xp farm by a landslide!

Note: Not my design, I copied a tutorial since I am unoriginal lol, here it is!

posted a message on What's your junk-disposing method?

My method was taken by a youtuber, it was a chest connected to a dispenser that tossed them into lava underground, all I had to do was insert unwanted items, and the dispenser would suck them out of the chest and burn them

posted a message on What's your history?

Here we go! Here is my Minecraft story:

For a while I never was really interested in minecraft, It was when my younger sibling showed me some modded gameplay of it with shaders that really got my attention, ever since then I would watch minecraft youtubers (such as Moosecraft, UnspeakableGaming, and 09Sharkboy..or something like that, I have stopped watching them eventually though, their content became cringe.) I never had a device that could run minecraft, so I was stuck watching videos and dreaming of playing it. Then, one day, my older sibing bought a PS4, our very first playstation we'd ever own. Finally, on January 30th, 2018, I bought Minecraft for Playstation 4 for $19.99 at walmart. I was filled with excitement as I returned home and slid the game into the disc slot. Ever since then, me and my younger sibling would play minecraft together, building, and having fun. The console edition minigames were also a blast! As time went on, I learned about the Bedrock editions of minecraft and the features they boasted, cross-play, servers, other smaller differences, realms, the marketplace, more add-on's...At the time I desperately wanted these features along with many other PS4 players, I fondly remember watching Stealth's constant "Where is PS4 Bedrock?" videos, always excited at the slightest bit of good news, then around the time Minecraft 3DS was new, I picked that up so I could play mineraft on-the-go while my family went on a vacation, (although 3DS is the worst version of minecraft, I enjoyed my time with it lol)

In March of 2019, I received a Nintendo Switch for my birthday (it was a month late birthday gift haha) and I bought minecraft for that too. In total I owned 3 different versions of Minecraft, my least favorite being the nintendo switch version to horrible performance issues. And it's pretty much stayed like that for a while, I was happy when PS4 got bedrock edition. And finally, in this very month of june, I received my very first computer, and as you may guess, I bought minecraft for that too XD, which comes to the present, I own 4 versions of minecraft on different platforms, making memories on each one, and to this day, I really regret deleting my original survival world back on console PS4..

Going back to OG PS4, I also watched a youtuber named Mr. Cubey (I think it's just cubey now) and fell in love with his house tutorials, and the first thing I did on that first survival world was copy one of his designs. Because of the lack of consistent materials, It looked like a big fat mess of mixed wood types and cobblestone. Later on I started a farm I was quite proud of, It was built on top of a lake in rows, filled with lots of wheat. Nearby I constructed a cow farm. Near my house there was a deep ravine, at lemme tell you, at the time I was HORRIFIED of mobs and caves, I hated spelunking, the second a skeleton shot a arrow out of the blue, I jumped, same with the unexpected moans of a zombie. Eventually, due to my noobish fear of mobs and caves, I did the ridiculously idiotic decision of enabling creative mode, and spawing in diamonds. after toying with creative mode, I realized my stupid decision, and deleted the world.

Lastly, I want to tell the short story of my current bedrock PS4 world, I took the seed from a survival island series by Eckoxsoldier, and simply made it large instead of classic sized, I rowed a boat to the mainland, made a custom villiage like he did (but my own design) and just built stuff. two statues, lots of roads, and VERY OP armor.

And that's my minecraft story, where right now I have a java survival world, currently exploring the nether update!

well, once your on the website (via my link) make sure to make an account. afterwards you should see a button at the top that says "Create". This will follow you through the bug reporting process! its really easy, nothing complex. but before reporting make sure you look it up first, as Mojang doesn't like reports on the same thing. hope this information will help your issue!
