Hey everyone! Welcome to the High Altitude Server! This is a server that has been around for a couple months now, but we recently just got a new world. So we are currently in a period of new beginnings and plan to whitelist about 10 more people over the next few weeks! We would love to have some new, mature, members around!
Here are the rules:
• You must be active on our server. After a period of inactivity (around a few weeks) we will notify you that you must resume activity, and that if you do not, you will be banned. This ensures that all of our members are active and that we always feel like we are playing Minecraft in part of a group.
• No griefing! If we discover that you have been griefing, you will be banned. Pranking is allowed, but it must not be destructive or mean spirited in any way.
• You must have Skype. We communicate via a group chat in Skype, which means that to join, if you do not already have a Skype account, you must make one. You also should try to have a mic if possible, as, though not absolutely required, if you want to participate in the server events such as UHC, it is necessary. There is also a Teamspeak server that we use to talk to each other, so you might enjoy downloading Teamspeak as well.
• You must build in the town at least once. In addition, the quality of your builds must be at least moderately good so that spawn stays looking nice and pretty.
• No cheating! If you are suspected to be using xray, mods, or anything else that is not compliant with pure vanilla survival, you will be put on probation or banned.
• No PVP without mutual agreement. We have the death games like on Mindcrack in place as well as an arena in progress where the PVP will be carried out.

How long have you played Minecraft for? I have played Minecraft since the early Alpha stages.
What is your area of interest? ( Modern Builder, Big Builder etc) My area of intrests in Minecraft are as followed. I love to cave and explore. I like nothing more than exploring caves and vast worlds. I am very into the UHC community if you know what that is, and love to PvP and surviving. I also love to do redstone. Altough I am not that great, I still love to build.
Past experience with other servers? I have been on 13 different Vanilla SMP servers. One of which last for a year but eventually shut down only 2 months ago. So I have amazing knowledge of SMP servers work.
Experience with building? What have you built previously? How good are you at building? (It's OK to be up yourself here ) I was part of a building crew for a fairly big PvP Server and the owners and members of the server seemed to really love it. At first in Alpha I had a tiny little wood home. But now I have great architecturally designed buildings with great detail using half slabs and stairs to give the house much more depth. I also will not go lightly, I will get whatever blocks I need for my house, no matter how hard the blocks may be to obtain. On a scale of 1-10 I think I am an 8.
State why you would like to join our friendly private whitelisted server I would like to join the High Altitude server because the community from what I've heard sounds incredible. Now a days its nearly impossible to find a great community of Minecrafters that aren't complete jerks and that are mature. So many communities fall apart because of little kids thinking they know everything. Another huge reason I would like to join is to entertain people. IRL I am a programmer and I do Improv (basically stand up) so I love to make people laugh. Me who suffers from depression, loves to make other people have a great time. It makes me happy when I get to bring happiness to others.
Aaand.. The most important question, How active will you be towards the server? Keep in mind you will be kicked for in-activity: __How active will I be? I would like to join the High Altitude server because the community from what I've heard sounds incredible.
