I have a small problem. I am trying to make a server for me and my friends to play online. When I test it, I use the localhost connection in multilayer just to see if it worked. It logs in, then stays at the dirt texture background for like 10 seconds, flashes black, then Minecraft crashes! I have set up port forwarding on my wireless router and I have a VERY powerful computer so it should run the server without a hitch. And after the crash, in the Java log, it says <username> disconnect.genericreason. I have no idea whats up. Any help is vary appreciated!
I read the trouble shooting guide and i did all three things, I deleted META-INF, haven't installed any other mod, i use the downloaded version of minecraft, and i used the correct mod version! All i get is the black screen, what did i do wrong?!?!?!?!
