Both the Java and Bedrock edition are licensed proprietary code , it gets complicated with the java version , like you said no store to sell at. Everything is a derivative work and even though you create a mod , texture-pack, as soon as its in any minecraft format , microsoft has got you in a license violation if you profit from it. Unless you live in a communist country and never plan on traveling to any part of the rest of the world, don't try and profit without explicit license permissions from all software companies used in the creation of your project .

On a Paper server map made in 1.16.5 , we used cleanroomgenerator for chunk fill. and void biome to control mob generation
In version 1.16.5 single player , the render is skipping over large sections of the map that are marked as void biome and will not
render the chunks until they are flew over

To stop the crash i just removed Liteloader from the directory , it might have been a mixin bug , but the new version works .
quick question . If i have a fully rendered worldmap in single player , can i use it when i am on the server, they are the same map . I thought i could just copy over the cache files but the server render just started again from scratch . what files and directories can i copy from the single player cache to the server cache to have a fully rendered worldmap on the server.

Update 1.21.0 (MC 1.18.2, 1.17.x, 1.16.5, 1.16.4, 1.16.3, 1.16.2, 1.15.2, 1.14.4, 1.12.2):
* Compatible with Xaero's Minimap / Better PVP 20.23.0 or newer. Version 22.7.0 is HIGHLY recommended.
* When generating a map from the world save, the chunks that have not yet been populated with light value are no longer going to be ignored. This will cause some minor "lighting glitches" at the edges of the discovered map but it is worth it for the support of some world generators that do not generate light values.
+ Added a new map overlay/highlight system to be used for future map overlays, e.g. claimed chunks from Xaero's Parties and Claims. I want to make sure that it doesn't break anything when it isn't used, since I had to rewrite a lot of existing systems.
* Significantly improved branch map texture updates (used on further zoom-outs). Completely removed map regions should now affect the branch textures. The "root" textures, which are often visible at any zoom (blurry), should now update at any zoom as well.
* Optimized subsequent map texture uploads.
* Started using direct buffer pools to reduce the number of direct allocations/deallocations.
* Reworked the world map elements system which is currently used for waypoints and to be used for future features.
* Fixed map regions sometimes not appearing in the PNG export even though they've already been generated.
* Improved text formatting support in tooltips, which should be useful for future features.
+ Added the ability to select (a) chunk(s) by dragging the mouse over the map with the right mouse button pressed. As of now, it is not used for anything but displaying the chunk coordinates in the right-click menu. Will be used in the future for chunk-specific options, e.g. chunk claiming.
* The world map right-click menu will no longer contain any coordinates when the "Cursor Coordinates" setting is disabled. You still need to use the "Hide Waypoint Coordinates" minimap setting to hide coordinates on other screens.
* (1.18.2 - 1.17.1) Fixed shared world map locations outside of the discovered map not being converted to 2D waypoints.
This new release has a conflict with Liteloader 1.12.2

I asked someone else that uses a skywars map . They are custom maps with islands of land in a void biome . They think that worldmap might think our map is a The End or the Nether .

One other observation in single player , I need to fly over the blank areas for worldmap to see and render my map . before suggesting i change any other setting , I had read through the help on what settings do and tried them out with no success .
I uploaded a part of the map here , so you can test . The first thing you do when opening the map is press M to render the map . Flying around will result in a full render . Leaving the generated area , will begin to generate new vanilla chunks . For this test , just stay in that area and see that it does not render the chunks generated in Paper . I think I see what the trouble may be . On a server the flatland artificially generated with cleanroom is set to The Void to prevent players from generating new chunks or seeing any land past the world border . Your mod must have a setting preventing reading void biomes , so player must fly over the area to render it . I guess we can use FAWE to change the maps biome to plains or something . I guess this is how your map renders the 2D map compaired to Dynmap or Journey map . Looking at the Level.dat may help you figure it out

I had already gone through your settings and had it turned on . Here is screenshots with debug on and moving the cursor over original old area and gradually in to areas generated while running in Paper 1.12.2 . Since your source is not published I cant guess whats wrong . the original map had a sea level of 64 blocks , In paper all the new area was generated at a height of 52 blocks using cleanroom generator plugin ,
should not mater , Unless it is using height map of 64 of original map and does not see new chunks generated at height 52

I found a bug in the current 1.12.2 world map . Importing a fully formed rectangular map from Paper 1.12.2 , constrained with world border , into single player Forge 1.12.2 , world map will not read any of the chunks generated on the paper sever . Since the map was originally a single player map and moved to Paper , world map will only see chunks from when it was single player. Journey map , Dynmap renders the whole complete map , while world map will only render pre-Paper server chunks

Hello, Im using Traincraft 4.3.0_002 for minecraft 1.7.10 and Ive found weird behaviour of sloped track with length of 6 - over Y=130 they wont work as in lower altitudes, making locomotive to hang in place with max speed whithout possibility to stop it (using S movement key) when traying to leave upper end of track; and after punching loco to drop it off the rails Steve hangs in air jumping up and down or falling through the track stopping at block below it, standing half buried in block above which is directly supporting sloped track. Any idea why this happens?
Does the same thing happen with Traincraft-4.4.1_021 . Try it out and post back

so can I just say I really love having one version of my mod that works in 1.14, 1.14.1, 1.14.2 and 1.14.3, with a second that works on 1.14.4 because of a Mojang change? Compared to Forge where I need separate releases for each Minecraft version, and now need two separate releases for 1.14.4 depending on one's Forge version thanks to Forge moving a class in the middle of a Minecraft version? Forget that noise I am fully on the Fabric train, if I wasn't before.
on the Bright side 1.14.4 is final (hmm) Don't expect any updates until next year when 1.15 drops . You could just create a hybrid jar that looks for whats installed , include all the Jars for fabric and forge

You could try installing linux 32 bit on the machine and i am sure that if you start with minecraft 1.7.10 and work your way up to find out what versions work with that laptop . start off with a live USB version of Linux Mint 32 bit to test the machine with the OS. Google Linux Mint Live USB to get instructions . Also read up on what version is best for older hardware , it will give the machine new useful life

Try this , get https://launcher.mojang.com/download/Minecraft.exe
your minecraft will be in this directory , C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft
rename your /.minecraft directory to /.minecraft_old
make a new , C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft , to create a directory in windows that starts with a " . " you would name it , for example ... ".minecraft." , you add a period to the end of the name
, and put the Minecraft.exe you downloaded , into that directory , right click on that file and send shortcut to desktop .
Run Minecraft from the desktop shortcut , this will install minecraft and when windows asked you to open firewall for java accept

I'm running Windows 10. The text I'm trying to copy is in the 'Previous Output' field of the command block. Copying that text was doable in 1.13.2. But I can't select it at all in 1.14.x.
I just tried it again in 1.14.4_pre6 with the <ctrl + a> keyboard shortcut and I couldn't select anything. Also tried it again in 1.13.2 and I could select all of the text with no problems. So it's definitely a problem with 1.14.
Just checked output is written directly to latest.log . Someone coded it that way . So there is no clipboard access to that field . I have to agree , the output in that field is constantly updating , better to write to the disk . Open latest.log in notepad copy out the line you want , refresh notepad when you want to copy the results again .

I just noticed that since version 1.14 I can no longer copy Command Block output to the clipboard. It works fine in 1.13.2, but doesn't work at all since 1.14 thru 1.14.4_pre6. Is that intentional, or a bug? Anyway, I posted it as a bug on the Bug Tracker. Weird stuff...
I was going to fix some glitched-out 1.14 villagers by pulling the entity data from the ones with the, well, not-so-desirable traits (whaddya mean you want 64 spuds for one lousy emerald? that's highway robbery!), then tweak it back to normal and plug the changes back into the villager. So I threw down a command block to use a 'data get entity' command to capture the bugged-out villager's entity data, then tried to copy the output from the command block and paste it into Windows Notepad. But I couldn't select the text in the 'Previous Output' field anymore! Couldn't select any of it. So I tested this ability in the latest snapshot (1.14.4_pre6), and I still couldn't select any of the 'Previous Output' text.
Hopefully they get that bug fixed. Otherwise 1.14.4 is shaping up to be a pretty good minor release.
Strange . what OS are you using , I tested on Windows 10 and pasted to my firefox browser outside the game
Ctrl a , to select
Ctrl c , to copy
Ctrl v , to paste

If you have some coding knowledge , you'll understand that this custom Java is a Fork of Oracles generic Java . Mojang began optimizing and developing this branch specifically for Minecraft . The build number is deceiving because it no longer resembles the Oracle generic 8u51 .
Here is the Java repository

Getting nervous about 1.13, My 1.13 pre has been online for only 4 weeks and 5 players, my disk usage is at 4.5GB, it took 4 years for my 1.12 to reach that amount of disk space. the region mca file count is only at 210 with no heavy building activity. has anyone else noticed the climb of disk storage use.?
The math says we are all doomed. server went from 100GB needed to well over 5TB in approximately one year at this rate. my server is 10gb memory all ready peeking at 45% USE. cpu 57% on average running 100% vanilla. I don't think Java can handle much more. the lag is worse now then it was with Pre-2.
If you were to put up your system specs and post the logs , someone can help you with this problem
