New Mediafire sux. GitHub is better now.
There are a few non-vanilla files and folders in there. They're just for a few mods like Mo'Creatures, ZombieHunt and ZombieCraft. All vanilla sounds for Minecraft 1.2.4 are there.
Perfect! I wish minecraft.net would post it somewhere on their website for free access, but maybe they're worried about copyright or something. Thanks!
Hi I cant find what my server IP is and I can't update my Craftbukkit its saying CraftBukkit download new Build, please stop the server and copy C:\Users\Owner\Documents\CraftBukkit Server\update\craftbukkit.jar to your Main-Folder.
CraftbukkitUpToDate does that. All the time. It's a pain in the butt plugin... but if you haven't already copied what it's saying, do it. Otherwise, just use the new version of auto-installer but copy in your old "world" folder.
hey my friend leo was updating his server from 1.2.3 to 1.2.4 and i told him to redownload it from minecraft.net the same way he first did it. when he had done that he went on his world and everything was gone... and we forgot to make a minecraft save backup. so is it my fault?????? or just an error?
Well, if you didn't make the backup you're out of luck. What exactly did you replace? Just Minecraft_Server.exe?
Hmm... there may be something up with your updater-converter. My best guess is to copy the world file into your singleplayer worlds. "%APPDATA%\.minecraft\saves"
Then use your client to convert the world to anvil, and move the world back over.
Otherwise, yes, I think you're screwed. Good thing you made a backup!FYI that looks a lot more than a single chunk, more like 30-40 from the looks of it.
No one on the server can spawn villagers via a spawn egg, or server-side spawn commands. It seems as if they instantly despawn. We cannot seem to find any natural in the world, either, although we have so far only found 1 village. Any help?
This is a simple fix. In the server.properties file, you have "spawn-npcs" to equal false, most likely. Just change that to true and it should work!
Did you set the IP in server.properties?
In that file, the server-IP: should be your hamachi IP address.
Do you have the whitelist enabled?
If, in server.poperties, whitelist-enabled = true, you have to add their usernames to the whitelist.txt.
Do they use minecraftforfree.com or some other unauthorized minecraft version?
If they have cracked versions of minecraft, you have to set online-mode to false in server.properties.
If nothing else, send me a message and I can get you some additional help.
You can delete all your minecraft files without deleting your saves.
1. Go to application data. This can be accomplished by going to Start... Run... and type in %APPDATA%.
2. Go to .minecraft.
3. Copy and paste the saves folder to somewhere safe, like your desktop.
4. Delete .minecraft.
5. Run the minecraft.exe.
6. Go back and copy and paste in your saves folder, replacing the empty one that was just created.

That's the best I can do, not sure what's wrong.
I see you're on Vista. I'm not knowledgable on that OS but I think you can just type %APPDATA% into the little search box thing on your start bar? Not positive...
Two things COULD be wrong, or they might not be:
1. Your minecraft for some reason can't support high resolution texture packs... (32x, 64x)
2. You aren't using the updated version of the pack?
Also, your graphics or video card drivers might be screwed up if you have been messing around with those sorts of things.
I was having problems with sounds a while ago so I deleted my resources folder to fix it and all worked fine. Now I'm trying to mess around with sound modding, but I only have the sounds I have encountered so far, which are few. Can someone post their resources folder up on mediafire or adfly with all the music and sound effects? It would be really helpful! Thanks!
Download this, it's a third-party tool called MCNostalgia. Basically you run the program and it will give you a list of all the old versions, and you pick the one you want. Just make sure you have a clean, unmodded minecraft.jar.

Go into your .minecraft, open the options file.
Make sure all these values are as follows:
key_key.attack:-100
key_key.use:-99
key_key.forward:17
key_key.left:30
key_key.back:31
key_key.right:32
key_key.jump:57
key_key.sneak:42
key_key.drop:16
key_key.inventory:18
key_key.chat:20
key_key.playerlist:15
key_key.pickItem:-98
Other than that, they work for me. Check your keyboard? Do they work in other applications?

1. Check your modloader syntax with a tutorial online. You may have just typed something wrong.
2. Did you delete META-INF?
