I figured out that the LiteLoader voxel mod known as "integrated.soundpack.litemod" causes all the sound FX to break in ProjectZulu. Just thought I'd point that out for anyone else that is using FTB modpacks and have no sound from the mobs.
Hey mate. I LOVE this mod but my Forge log is being filled with the following messages whenever I look at, I think, the Squirrels. I tested this looking down at the ground and as soon as a Squirrel moved into view, the log went nuts. As soon as it moved out of view, the messages stopped. Seems to lag the game out when this occurs.

I'm seeing this too. Looks like squirrels cause it. Once it sets up the texture for squirrels, I get around 4000 lines of errors spam the forge log. It starts like this:
Any idea why LiteLoader breaks sound effects from Project-Zulu mobs? I am using MC 1.4.7 & Forge 6.6.2.534 and a bunch of mods (FTB Ultimate plus 20 more). Atmosmob's sounds work but PZ's don't. As soon as I remove liteloader from instmods and rebuild JAR, the sounds will work again. Then I put liteloader back into instmods, rebuild jar, and sounds are broken again.
Trying to get AtmosMobs, Biomes-O-Plenty, and Mo' Creatures working with MSC. I see people doing it and I downloaded the handy MSC spawn txt file for the combination of those 3 mods. However, I'm getting these "ticking entity" crashes when it tries to spawn mobs from Mo' Creatures. Can't find anyone that has solved the ticking entity error, though. Maybe this is just a problem with MCPC+, or maybe it's Forge. Whatever it is, it makes me sad ;(
This mod still over-rides block protection from bukkit plugins like WorldGuard, right? Is there an "include" list for MultiMine to use so I can just add the commonly mined things like ores, stone, dirt, etc?
So I'm trying to use MobBountyReloaded on my server (MCPC+ build 248). Running debug mode with it, I can see the entity ID's that are passed to the bukkit server. Unfortunately, AtmosMobs entities are not being passed, it appears. This is without MSC installed because I am doing a barebones test on a new server helping the MBR author fix his plugin for custom biomes (extrabiomes & biomes-o-plenty). I might go install MSC and see if it somehow passes entity IDs to bukkit.
Does anyone here have experience with MBR & Atmosmobs?
UPDATE: Oh ya, I know there is a Forge function that lets mods use their own dedicated entity ID range. Some mods, like Traincraft, don't use this method - it uses the built-in 255 entity ID reservations. The traincraft entities all show up in MBR config file, along with some other mods that added stuff to the entity IDs. Maybe MCPC+ only registers the main 255 entities.
UPDATE: So ya, basically MCPC+ passes the main 255 entities along and MBR uses those with no problems. I'm trying to find out if there is a way for MCPC+ to pass other entities along.
For the bukkit DynMap users out there...mikeprimm updated the BoP texture file to include all the textures now. I believe it was build 632 when this was updated (http://jenkins.primmhome.com:8080/job/dynmap/). However, the biomes list is still old (because he didn't want to break the plugin for the people using the old BoP biomes list), so if you have a current BoP, you will need to rem out 5 of the biomes in the DynMap BoP textures txt file (\plugins\dynmap\renderdata\biomes-o-plenty-texture.txt). If you don't, you will get a biome ID error during server start and DynMap won't continue processing the textures file and you won't see any BoP textures on your DynMap.
Those 5 biomes to rem (or delete) are:
Meadow Forest
Promised Land (Hills)
Promised Land (Swamp)
Tundra (Dry)
Wasteland (Trees)

There is no open case for it in the DynMap support area. The only thing regarding BoP is that DynMap started supporting it in v1.5. Well it didn't fully work in 1.5 and isn't any better in 1.6, at least not for me.

Well dang, there is a pair of config files that map out the models and textures. I may have to figure out how to edit that unless someone else already has and could post it. The files are:

I believe the models are fine, but the textures for terrain definitely aren't. In DynMap 1.6, the texture file for BoP is missing the terrain. I resized my BoP texture file to 256x256 and replaced it in the DynMap folder. I deleted the \tiles\ folder and restarted my server. I let dynmap render some of the world. The textures aren't working, so I figured there must be some config to tell DynMap where the textures are. At the end of the Biomes-O-Plenty-texture.txt file is this:

really? is there no config for the other mods which have used the entity id? i don't know, i never got that error. o.O
Unfortunately, no. I have yet to see any entity IDs manually configurable in any mods. I think it's because it automatically finds the available IDs, so manual configuration could only screw it up and make it worse.
Basically it just means I have to choose a select few from a group of mods that eat up those 255 entity IDs. In this case, I chose DivineRPG & Thaumcraft and had to ditch TrainCraft and Biomes O' Plenty (using ExtraBiomesXL again). I also chose AtmosMobs over Mo'Creatures but I don't know if Mo'C uses Forge entity IDs or not.
no problem, it fixed a few errors i was getting with ic2 and maybe thaumcraft as well.
Interesting tool. It is definitely helpful with block and item IDs, but I already cleared up those conflicts manually. Unfortunately, it can't do anything about entity IDs. Here's what I get now:

Oh that looks sweet. I haven't tried that one, but I did try that other ID resolver that is stand-alone and only shows you entity IDs if they are editable in a config file, which none of them are for the mods I'm messing with.
I played them together just fien in 1.28 not sure about later versions though, i haven't tested yet.
Cool, I will figure out which other mod I am using that uses entity IDs. I believe AtmosMobs is nice and uses its own entity ID range. I'll update this post whenever I find what mod is hogging the IDs. Right now, as soon as I add Thaumcraft, I get this:

But it's not a direct conflict. I'm pretty sure they will grab available IDs if there are any.
Update: Ahh, as expected, it was Biomes O' Plenty hogging entity IDs to the point where if you add DivineRPG & Thaumcraft, you will run out of IDs (that is, if they are actively searching for available IDs and using them instead of being statically set to a specific ID and conflicting). I guess my RPG/Magic server will have to use ExtraBiomesXL, if it actually doesn't hog a bunch of entity IDs. ARG! How are more people not experiencing this limitation and making a stink about it to the point where the mod authors notice and realize that Forge can handle entity IDs?
The is a mod called ID Resolver if you are lazy. Or you can just change the item id in the config.
Entity IDs are different than item & block IDs. I believe the mod author can allow you to alter entity IDs via a config file (according to some people), but I don't know of any that do. And what's worse, many mod authors aren't using Forge's entity ID handling and instead all the mods fight over the base 255 entity ID reservations. TrainCraft supposedly has 165+ entity IDs. ThaumCraft and DivineRPG also both try to use the base 255 IDs.
Do we have to wait for the mod authors to adapt to Forge's method?

I believe it only happens when a squirrel spawns, so disabling all squirrels in MSC should do the trick.

Does anyone here have experience with MBR & Atmosmobs?
UPDATE: Oh ya, I know there is a Forge function that lets mods use their own dedicated entity ID range. Some mods, like Traincraft, don't use this method - it uses the built-in 255 entity ID reservations. The traincraft entities all show up in MBR config file, along with some other mods that added stuff to the entity IDs. Maybe MCPC+ only registers the main 255 entities.
UPDATE: So ya, basically MCPC+ passes the main 255 entities along and MBR uses those with no problems. I'm trying to find out if there is a way for MCPC+ to pass other entities along.

Well dang, there is a pair of config files that map out the models and textures. I may have to figure out how to edit that unless someone else already has and could post it. The files are:

I believe the models are fine, but the textures for terrain definitely aren't. In DynMap 1.6, the texture file for BoP is missing the terrain. I resized my BoP texture file to 256x256 and replaced it in the DynMap folder. I deleted the \tiles\ folder and restarted my server. I let dynmap render some of the world. The textures aren't working, so I figured there must be some config to tell DynMap where the textures are. At the end of the Biomes-O-Plenty-texture.txt file is this:

These are the textures that aren't working. I don't what I'm doing yet, so if anyone knows anything about this, I would love to have some help.

Does anyone know of a method to fix the textures that don't render in DynMap? I am pretty sure that DynMap author has to be the one to fix this, but just thought I'd see if anyone knew anything about it.
There is no open case for it in the DynMap support area. The only thing regarding BoP is that DynMap started supporting it in v1.5. Well it didn't fully work in 1.5 and isn't any better in 1.6, at least not for me.
Textures that don't render: Red rock, wasteland, volcano, and origin. So basically all of them I think, right?
I think I need to find out how and where from DynMap pulls textures.
UPDATE: I should have looked before posting anything on here. I see in the DynMap folder that there are textures for all the mods and the one for Biomes O Plenty is out-dated and is missing terrain. I'll just shrink my block.png down to dynmap size and that should do 'er. I should probably let the DynMap guy know that if he doesn't already.

Unfortunately, no. I have yet to see any entity IDs manually configurable in any mods. I think it's because it automatically finds the available IDs, so manual configuration could only screw it up and make it worse.
Basically it just means I have to choose a select few from a group of mods that eat up those 255 entity IDs. In this case, I chose DivineRPG & Thaumcraft and had to ditch TrainCraft and Biomes O' Plenty (using ExtraBiomesXL again). I also chose AtmosMobs over Mo'Creatures but I don't know if Mo'C uses Forge entity IDs or not.

Interesting tool. It is definitely helpful with block and item IDs, but I already cleared up those conflicts manually. Unfortunately, it can't do anything about entity IDs. Here's what I get now:

Oh that looks sweet. I haven't tried that one, but I did try that other ID resolver that is stand-alone and only shows you entity IDs if they are editable in a config file, which none of them are for the mods I'm messing with.

Cool, I will figure out which other mod I am using that uses entity IDs. I believe AtmosMobs is nice and uses its own entity ID range. I'll update this post whenever I find what mod is hogging the IDs. Right now, as soon as I add Thaumcraft, I get this:

But it's not a direct conflict. I'm pretty sure they will grab available IDs if there are any.
Update: Ahh, as expected, it was Biomes O' Plenty hogging entity IDs to the point where if you add DivineRPG & Thaumcraft, you will run out of IDs (that is, if they are actively searching for available IDs and using them instead of being statically set to a specific ID and conflicting). I guess my RPG/Magic server will have to use ExtraBiomesXL, if it actually doesn't hog a bunch of entity IDs. ARG! How are more people not experiencing this limitation and making a stink about it to the point where the mod authors notice and realize that Forge can handle entity IDs?

Entity IDs are different than item & block IDs. I believe the mod author can allow you to alter entity IDs via a config file (according to some people), but I don't know of any that do. And what's worse, many mod authors aren't using Forge's entity ID handling and instead all the mods fight over the base 255 entity ID reservations. TrainCraft supposedly has 165+ entity IDs. ThaumCraft and DivineRPG also both try to use the base 255 IDs.
Do we have to wait for the mod authors to adapt to Forge's method?
Is there a way to pull a list of used entity IDs like we can with block & item IDs in NEI?
