So basically, I have 7 achievements left to beat the game for the first time. This is my second survival world I believe. I never have beaten the game before, or even got to the end. But I kinda cheated a little on some of the achievements. For example, I cheated on the ridding a minecart for 1km. And I also spawned a ghast in to kill it with it's own fireball because I couldn't find any ghasts. And last, but not least, I go into creative mode sometimes in the nether to travel around because I'm too lazy to place blocks to climb. If I beat the game (did all the achievements), does it count? Is it legit? Would it be acceptable?

I have a world I created in 1.7.5. I love playing on my survival world and you could say I've gotten pretty far. Haven't been to the nether yet but I've got a lot of ingots and stuff along those lines. I've heard that 1.8 will have some new generation updates with underwater temples and and new mob. My question is, is that if I will have access to the new features in the generation with my old 1.7.5 world? I don't want to start from scratch but I also wanna see the new features in that world. Please help me out here.

Extremely sorry for late response. My first guess is your settings. Try getting optifine and turning all the animations off including particles. You will notice a massive increase in fps. I use optifine. When I'm not using it I get like 100fps. When I do use it, I get 300 - 500 fps. So try to get optifine and play with your settings and find out what's best for you. I used to have a really ­ty computer so I'm used to speeding up minecraft. Now I only get optifine to make my rendering distance 32 chunks and not 16. lol

I'm starting a youtube series called "Minecraft Mythbusters" and what I need is some good myths. If you've heard of any myths please respond or if you know myths that you know the answer to, respond but don't tell me what the answers to them are. So I have about 10 mods in my mod folder cuz I wanted to make a modded survival serires on my youtube channel. So I start my personal world and I can spawn the guild and everything works, but when I create another world, nothing happens when I press y. I reinstalled, didn't work, changed the button, didn't work, went to a suitable location, didn't work. Please help as I was really looking forward to this mod!

EDIT: Nevermind. It was just a matter of restarting minecraft over and over and over and over. This is so hard to type cause I may have dislocated my finger while playing soccer

I've been using unbelievable shaders recently and I play in a small window to get 30 - 60 fps. But when I go fullscreen or bigger window, it jumps all the way down to 10 - 20 and when I record it goes to 5 - 15! Now I know my pc may not be good enough but I don't know what part of my pc to upgrade so I'm asking does the shaders pack use up ram, cpu, gpu, or the graphics card the most? If I find out which is contributing to the lag, I could probably upgrade it! Please respond soon as I'm planning to make a minecraft modded survival series and I would like to have shaders with it.

Well first of all, you should give us more info on what you were doing, what was happening and what was in the background running. My first guess is that your CPU can't handle Minecraft smoothly. Your ram is fine but I think you should get a new CPU as I2 isn't so good. Maybe i5 of something like that. That is just my first guess. Please provide us more info.

Well give us pictures of where you put it and we need way more details than you put them in the jar folder because that's not where they go! Please give us some pictures and you should create a new profile using modloader and then go to that profile, open the jar inside that profile and then it should work. If not please show us what happened or use Magic Launcher because it's really helpful.

one you could use command blocks for randomness.
two you can probably use a plugin to set spawn health to 1 which is half a heart
three you can probably get a plugin to disable regen.

There are a lot of plugins you can find out there. You just need to search.

What do you mean by apocalypse like zombies or creepers? Please give us more info.

Probably it is incompatible with the version of windows you're using. Just wait for a update because, I don't know, what else is there to do. LOL
