Need Halp!!! Can't run java cuz on school pc and I don't have java.
I did install java binaries but mainly cuz the system does not have it

Install Java Portable... and/or grab the whole portableapps suite from portableapps.com. That's what's recommended here. I haven't tested it yet but i will be soon.
So i own a copy of minecraft and i have limited access to stuff on my school computer. if i run this off my usb will it be compatible with normal servers and not just cracked ones?
As long as you log in, at a place that lets you get to Minecraft.net and its associated websites (some schools won't let you), you can get in officially and not use cracked servers. But if you can't log in and play multiplayer at school on an online server, I doubt you'll be able to use an offline one instead.
I don't usually jump straight into posting in threads like this but... having the same problem. Maybe it's because I'm trying to connect on a tech college server, with a weird port-name. Maybe they blocked part of the website I haven't seen.

Sure you can, although the source code (for the launcher) is already available at OP's post. Dunno why you'd need to decompile it.
