I checked with NEI how to craft a water pipe and it gave me a recipe that uses angel blocks :\ also when the recipe for angel block was enabled I smelted one magical ore from magical foods mod( http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1294197-magical-foods-mod-1-6-4-create-magical-foods ) and got angel block.I don't actually know if the problem is in this mod or on the other ones, just wanted to mention this issue(I haven't tried yet in newer versions of this mod so it might be just a little bug). OK that's what I wanted to say, have a nice day
ID conflicts, example: mod A registers an item with ID 7, and mod B registers block with ID 7, the recipe using the item now uses block because the block is where it expects to find the item in the ID table
please use pastebin next time, I don't feel like scrolling through a wall of improperly formatted error messages to hit the end of it (it's the forum's fault, not yours, but if you can't use pastebin, use the [code] tags)
I'm having an issue where the special block break code check is running VERY slow on my laptop (about one block a minute) it starts just fine but soon slows to a crawl.
EDIT: it's permgen space, I derped and didn't notice permgen errors
Anyone know how to "fix" this? I want at least lower than 65 please. And changing memory allocation in the launcher didn't work, I don't know why I thought it did.
CPU is Intel i7 processor 3770 with the stock fan/cooler.
I don't know optimal graphics card temp but right now mine is at 72....Nvidia gt630
get a better cooler, stock intel fans are crap, especially for an i7-3770, and I would advise going for a gigabyte GPU with windforce cooling, it works as well as it says it does, and optimal temps are around the same last I checked. I would advise going to the computer section of off topic for further discussion
Only the chunks around your original spawn point remain loaded.
for clarity's sake, the spawn your compass points to is semi-loaded at all times (items despawn, but that's about it, crops don't grow, mobs don't move or spawn, and of course it doesn't render)
If by that you mean yet another fork of Debian, sure.
If I remember correctly, it's actually ubuntu, which is based off debian, so it's a fork of a fork of debian
and let's not talk about linux in this thread to avoid an off-topic thread lock and, OP was asking about advice for windows and unlicensed OSes, not the specifics of which linux distros are based directly off of debian or a fork of debian, but it is true that the linux kernel will run on almost any device (I have an XP machine that now runs mint, and TF2 runs like a charm at low settings. 24 FPS)
Mac OSx won't work with Windows file type. I remember that.
linux will, I use it all the time for my small server and it can read NTFS just fine NTFileSystem is the windows filesystem that you claim OSX doesn't support, it does unless you are talking about programs. those won't work without a thing called WINE, which can run some windows programs, but I wouldn't advise you use it for gaming or anything intensive
As a matter of fact, is it illegal to update unlicensed OS?
yes, you have to buy a valid copy of windows, we cannot help you with unlicensed products that are illegal, other than telling you that it is in fact illegal
it will run VERY good. I have a gtx 780 and mc runs at about 450 fps average, trust me
read the threads you are replying to and don't just reply to OP, as this has gotten to a completely different build than what you are talking about
as for OP: I can't really say about ASUS, but personally I recomend asrock boards as they are usually pretty decent in terms of MOSFETs and chipsets, in addition to a BIOS with mouse support
hm, this is wierd. have you tried reinstalling minecraft?
have you tried actually lurking on this section of the forums to learn our solutions to various problems? [/sarcasm]
and reinstalling MC has a very low chance of actually working for this problem
looks good, that's another option, and I was just reminded that we might try to go for a mendel, as that's what the other school in the area has
EDIT: mendel confirmed

EDIT: derp, that's only for whole blocks being turned into microparts, but permgen and RAM may have something to do with it
