posted a message on Minecraft Console Update?

Now, I have not personally heard of any updates coming soon to Minecraft console edition. However, I am seeing all these updates for other platforms and it looks to me like something is coming soon in our direction. Tell me what you guys think.

Well here is my idea, Mine around in other places. I don't think you could logically mine away the entire world within a few year. It would probably take a lifetime to do so. So mine around in other areas. Create exspansive cave mines. Do what you can you know?

posted a message on End of Ps3 Minecraft????

I went to the mall the other day and overheard a guy at Gamestop talking about the shutdown date for Ps3 and Xbox 360 servers. He extended the fact that the consoles were now out of date and the shutdown could be happening sometime this summer. Could anyone confirm this? If you could that would be nice because if that is the case, the future multiplayer updates for Ps3 will be useless unless this is it for the Ps3 Minecraft community. Time to move to Ps4 I guess??

posted a message on WHY DON'T THEY FIX LOADING ERROR!!!!!!

Actually, that is a problem too. He is right that the playstaton keeps restarting and freezing. The "FTL"(failure to load) is not only bad for the game but the system as well.

posted a message on "Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition" has failed to load, and cannot continue.

Anyways, I posted this a while back. Not too long ago but as everyone says, I was mad. I was complaining as well, but let me tell you why. I am complaining because people are looking forward to new add ons in the game. I am too, who wouldn't be? However at the same time I am not because that means new problems that have to be fixed. Now think here for a second. If there are new problems that have to be fixed then this "FTL" (Failure To Load) problem will probably get pushed behind even more and could potentially grow worse. Now with that said I want to say something on the light side of things. I have been playing on a map with my girlfriend for a long enough time to have around 18 villagers a simple redstone door contraptions. Mass farms, Mass cave work progress, Enchanted items, Awesome leisure fishing time, and five buildings in all. I put my work into weird things, anyways, in the beggining it would freeze constantly. We had to auto save every 15min. Now you may be thinking "Well this isn't light at all!" It is, I found that everytime a player moved during the gameplay auto save the more frequent the "FTL" issue would pop up. However, when we stop during the countdown and wait, it seems that the auto save does its job without problems, even after 6h of gameplay. Now, I have been in the nether, I have lagged, and I have had many things spawn around me and chase me, Don't forget the redstone work either. It all lead to the "FTL", however, lately it hasn't happened except maybe once every 4 to 5 days. That is because we sign in when the player is working on something by accident, or because someone moved or was fighting during autosave. Now, I have noticed me waiting for it to save and then playing again works almost all the time. If everyone can do it on a server then it would probably help the game as well. I don't know why it works but it does. It helps a lot and there is a lot less of that "FTL". Obviously sometimes it saves when you're moving at the same time but you're basically taking a gamble of the game crashing.

Lastly, I think they should focus on the "FTL" Bug and then worry about other updates and such before they put new bugs into the game. I would put this in top priority if I was them. What use is a game that does not work 80-70% of the time.

posted a message on make pumpkins grow in other biomes

Well, the problem is, if they grew in multiple biomes then it would cause complications. It may be easy to find melons yes, but it wouldn't make sense to find them anywhere else. Maybe villages or maybe a villagers who sell the seeds would be a better idea.

Also, you can try killing witches. They tend to drop some nifty things sometimes. The weirdest too, I actually think I remember my girlfriend getting melon seeds from one. I can't remember if that was what that was but it is worth a try.

Hey, if you're lucky, search deep in as much caves as possible. Find some spawners (Because those things are like candy), hopefully you can find some in their chests. However, I was wondering. If you cannot get a jungle tree then how will you plant the coco??

posted a message on Crashes is a problem now.

Wow, I never heard of it happening to a Ps4 player. That is new to me. I really do hope they can fix this. I know they're trying to but I think it needs to be their main focus. If a game is not running correctly for its players and failing to even load in important aspects of the game then I think new content and such should wait. Though I cannot wait to see this new bug fix because I would like to see if it helps the gameplay. Even if it just helps a little more. It would make it better. I am building a village now in my survival map finally now and I am constantly getting more and more villagers. I put so much effort into that village in fifteen minutes and worry everytime it goes to save. Though I have figured something out though. I don't want to jinx myself and it does not work 100% of the time, but me and my girlfriend have a 15 min interval save. So when the countdown starts we stop what we are doing in the game and wait for it to save (If you're in battle you can wait to the last second just make sure everyone in the game stops.) This method has actually helped me and my girlfried to have hours of fun on the game lately. The crashes still happen every so often but it has decreased dramatically. However, when someone is moving and the game is about the save, it seems the game crashes more often than if your character and others character stop moving to wait for save. I know this is true because there are time where me and my girlfriend were playing and we used this method and it worked, up unti my girlfriend accidently moved backwards during the last second of the countdown and then it failed to load. Not a big deal though it was only 15min of lost game time. Now, I will ask that anyone who has this problem tries this until they fix this problem for good. It helps dramatically. To remind you guys though. I tried this with one person on a survival map. So will it work for multiple people online with lagging? I have no clue. But if it does then I think I may have founded part of the problem. If it isn't part of the problem then my solution helps until they can get it fixed.

posted a message on WHY DON'T THEY FIX LOADING ERROR!!!!!!

You know, I understand 4J is trying their best fixing this. However, why keep putting out more and more updates when the game will not even run right?. Lately my game has been fine. I haven't had an issu in a while. Me and my girlfriend mess around on a survival map and we save every 15 minutes. In the beggining the game was crazy with fails to load. Now it is actually kinda going smooth and I am happy with that. Though twice the game has frozen. Both times is when it was being saved manually and automatically. Also, I do have to mention the fact that I have not used much redstone lately and I have not been in the nether lately. These tend to make the Failed to load menu pop up more. I have been building a village and have farm animals and such. Though my game isn't slow. Also, offering 4J any information on this is not that useful for me anyways. Most of everything has been posted about this. Anyways, I hope they do fix this before the next update. Things will get worse if they don't. I do love the game but dang, this stuff is annoying.

That's how it feels, when playing alone it is alright. If you're doing anything special (Especially with other people)(Special being lots of redstone or something that is going constantly) then the ps3 just goes blank. By that I mean the failed to load screen is up.

posted a message on "Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition" has failed to load, and cannot continue.

I am very tired of the constant failures to load. I don't have money right now to buy myself a ps4 right now. I finish school here in like a month or two and i'll get a job then. However I shouldn't have to upgrade my gamesystem just to play a good game of minecraft you know? If 4J has no intentions of fixing this then I think it actually them telling us that we are going to be left behind if we don't update our systems. I think 4J may actually be loosing interest in the ps3 and xbox360. All I am saying is no more games are being made for Ps3. Everything is Ps4. Therefore more people will be buying the ps4. So, maybe minecraft is ready to focus on the ps4 and xbox1 rather than the previous systems.

posted a message on Crashes is a problem now.

Sladey here, this is probably the wrong thread to be posting in but it has been dealt with before just not in a big way. I have been playing minecraft on my ps3 alone and with my girlfriends and even online and I am really tired of the failure to load. It crashes with redstone constantly, the nether is never even a promise and forget trying to play with multiple people and do this because BAM! Instant crash. Wanna save your game? No, you can't because the game crashed. Wanna build some inventions with redstone? No, the game crashes. Wanna play in the nether? No, the game crashes. Wanna play with multiple people? No, the game crashes. Wanna actually make some headway in your world? No, game crashes. The game is almost unplayable now. It is ridicoulous. Excuse my incorrect spelling. This is just concerning and annoying. I love this game. It is a good game. However, the failure to load problem that everyone is having needs to be addressed in the next update. This is not a request, this is something everyone wants. Just please, the people working on this problem can fix this it would be better than another update. I think I speak for a lot of players in the PS3 minecraft community. Everyone has had this problem and it gets worse as you play. I have heard of this happening on all consoles. More effort needs to be put in to solve this issue. If this issue is solved, I am sure everyone will be greatful and will enjoy playing in the minecraft community once again. It is just bad when you can't even play alone without this issue. It is just really really sad. It makes the game a bit boring and also can cause problems to the consoles. I hate my console freezing or even having to quit a game constantly.
