Allow me to be three years late to the party. I am in need of this MCExtended for beta 1.7.3, but the download links don't seem to work. Any chance that anyone still has a copy of the file?
I am attempting to install a few mods into beta 1.7.3 just for the nostalgia, however that will require ItemSpriteAPI to extend the amount of custom sprites that can be used. I have tried adding it as a jar mod to no avail. I'm looking for any and all ideas, as I have no clue how to do this. If there are any alternatives or other work arounds, I would love to hear. Also, should I be using forge for beta 1.7.3? I don't know if that will make a difference, although I suspect it might cancel out ItemSpriteAPI as both overwrite bb.class. Maybe if someone could link me to Minecraft Extended for beta 1.7.3, that might work, but I have yet to find a copy of that mod.
This is the error: java.lang.Exception: No more empty item sprite indices left!
I'm not sure if this is the right forum to ask on, but I am having an issue regarding installing some legacy mods with MultiMC. ItemSpriteAPI onto Beta 1.7.3. I've tried installing it with every option MultiMC gives. The purpose of mod is to extend the total amount of sprites that can be added, but I cannot get it to work. Thanks for whatever help you can give me.
It is due to CodeChickenCore and NEI looking for minecraft.jar, but MultiMC previously had each version of minecraft labeled as [version#].jar. They fixed this in the most recent update.
Thanks! I'm still going through the mods one by one, and I'm pretty sure it somehow is not Hunger Overhaul, which is surprising, as that was my first guess too! I will back up my Minecraft folder now, thanks for that helpful tidbit!
In my personal modpack (minecraft 1.7.10), I have found that you take damage when your inventory is full. I am not sure which mod is doing this, and I would like to disable it. I believe it's due to inventory weight. I've spent way too long in those configs...
Can someone please explain to me how to add GregTech tools to the Treecapitator config? I am using Minecraft 1.5.2, so GregTech doesn't have it's odd tool system yet. Thanks for the help!
I am having an issue where the launcher doesn't launch at all; all I get is a window titled Java Virtual Machine Launcher and an error message that says a Java Exception has occurred. I have tried every version of the launcher I could get my hands on and I have deleted my .aether file each time.
Just a bit of input: if you've ever looked into GregTech, how he has worked the bronze age might be a decent way to base what you do of off. Sorry for the bad wording.
I am attempting to play multiple old versions of modded Minecraft through MultiMC. These versions include 1.3.2, 1.4.2 and 1.4.7.
Now, the problem I am encountering is how NEI and Code Chicken Core are installed. For Minecraft 1.3 and 1.4 they were both installed into the Coremods folder. However, in MultiMC, I cannot get NEI to show up in game. The mods button on the main menu shows that it is installed and available, yet it doesn't work. MultiMC will load up the other few mods I am trying to use, but it refuses to work with NEI and Code Chicken Core.

No it's cool! It's useful actually because I just started using Minecraft again for the first time in ages. It's cool to have all these rare files.

Turns out holding a lava bucket causes the damage... wow I misjudged that! I don't know which mod does that either though XD
