Name:[/b] Peric Gullyworth
Physical description:[/b] Peric stands at a broad 5'11, encompassed by generous cloth and fur with a keen texture to the likes of the forest. His hair runs freely down his shoulders, long and unkempt. Not an imposing man by any means, he carries a brusque form, muscle wrought of labor and the physical demands a wayfarer's body would proceed. Green eyes flutter out from underneath a canopy of hair, large and curious with every speckle. His face is a fair tan, equal to the amount of time spent outdoors.

Biography (Minimum 225 words. Most very fleshed-out characters have around 300, but feel free to use even more than that if you wish. Try and avoid clichés such as loved one being killed by bandits or the like):[/b]
Peric was born amidst the cruel heat and moisture that the broad forests of Mezzenia imposed. His family brought meager bounty to the table, and it was his obligation as well as his numerous brothers to scour their homeland in search of food. This is where the human family had found themselves - deep into the territory of savages and pirates. It wasn't always that way. Hailing from a lengthy heritage of fisherman, Peric's father teetered on the edge of affordability from the various fishing villages on the edge of Mezenia. When his father had met Peric's mother, promiscuity flourished, and from those condemning loins poured a host of children! The coin that fishing drew in was not enough to support the now enlarged family. His father was compelled to reach further into the perilous jungle lands of Mezenia to provide for his family: gathering alchemy ingredients within the biologically active environment of the forest was enough to keep his family afloat, yet dangerous all the same. Through these hardships, kind words remained and hopes bolstered in their hearts, for perseverance was the barrier from insanity.
The inner lands of Mezenia confirmed his father's earlier warnings, and as Peric grew into a young adult, retreat was inevitable. Though he grasped the savage tongue of which the feral elves spoke, he was not of their kind and they bore dour intentions had they not moved sooner. Pirates plundered the coast avidly, and the terror of the Undead loomed in distance. Weeks droned on in pained worry before the horde arrived. An empty ship, devoid of any true and holy life, drifted into the harbor near the residence of Gullyworth. Filled with undead scourge, they erupted from the ship's maw to pour across the landscape in a flesh frenzy. The family had seen such from afar, and made their escape with great haste. It was alast that the dangers proved too great for the family. With a stern grasp from his father and silent exchange of embrace, Peric was permitted to castigate his family name and find new coasts for himself. He was to leave a family pursued with peril and misfortune to any place they would go. As much as it pained the boy, his personal sanctity was valued above all. Aboard a shrewd fisherman's boat, Peric began his journey with little end goal, only to find asylum in lands more fortunate than Mezenia. And so the young boy began a spree of adventures, venturing down the gulf south-west of Mezenia in search of fertile hills and peaceful towns. He donned capes of pirates and dined with swashbucklers and broncobusters betwixt journies.
Legendary tales fluttered throughout the air and into the ears of the young Peric, of a land called Enris, a land that bore golden horizons and white shores. Though the threat of Undead was surely in all places, a tangible incandescence dripped off the words Enris, filling the boy with renewed hope and vigor. With the little coin he had accumulated, Peric set course on a charter for the shores of Enris. Quickly leaving his joyful meanderings behind, a true purpose had compelled him: find life anew within Enris. Blessed with a swift and course journey, it was not long before land came in sight, far from the lands of Mezenia. He had finally arrived to a new home.
What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation):[/b] For a long time, his sole motivation was the aspect of survival. In a land where happiness was strewn thinly in the air, Peric desires for well-being and sanctity above all. Having found his way into the lands of Erin, he seeks a purpose, be it fighting undead or studying more about the natural world of which he grew so fondly within the dense jungles and forests of Mezenia.
Strengths (Both physical and personality):[/b] Peric contains a rigid endurance to his persona, the afflictions that the world may bring hardly daunting his visage. It was a necessary trait, picked up along the hardships in Mezenia. Though the future spells a great bleakness, Peric continues to pursue hope with unfailing pace. Although he is not a beast of a man, he is certainly well endowed in physical prowess, given his circumstances and journeys to build such a frame. He knows much of the natural world, accustomed to it in his upbringing within Mezenia.
Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing [/b]
how to use a bow as a miner.):[/b] Peric lacks much of formal education, drawing short on real education to apply his fascination of the natural world into applicable arts such as woodworking or advanced alchemy. He turns wrothful with prolonged reflection, the anger of a kind man becoming the worst of all. His past hardships can only beckon anger, and despite his attempts to break melancholy with happiness, chance moments will come when frustration overwhelms logical sense. He was naturally born with light asthma, and with the hot and humid conditions of Mezenia, the asthma worsened into a minor yet dangerous heart condition. In the heat of prolonged, strenuous labor or combat, his heart will become pained and in threat of a potential heart attack. His vision was never well, and though he has no need for bionics, his sight has never been a benefactor.
