    posted a message on What Bitrate Do You Render Your Videos In?

    Hey Guys, I've started a Minecraft LP series lately, I've noticed some pixellation in my videos after rendering which is very annoying. I render out in 720p/60 with the h.264 codec. I render out with sony vegas with a 6,000Kbps bitrate Youtube recommends 5,000Kbps for a "Standard Quality" upload. I noticed some youtubers rendering out with 12 Kbps and their video looks flawless but I tried that and it doesn't work for me, Anyone know a fix or have any ideas?

    posted a message on Anyone else getting low FPS in the latest version of shaders?
    So, I was using an old version of shaders. The version with the messed up looking water and all entities were invisible. I could run this 110+ FPS no problem. Then I upgraded to the latest version, All the bugs I knew about were fixed. Messed up water, Invisible entities etc. So I ran SEUS Ultra like I always would and then my FPS dropped to about 30FPS it didn't go back down until nighttime came in game. My GPU is a EVGA GTX 970 FTW and my CPU Is an i7 4790k I have 8gb of ram but 4gb allocated to MC. I was wondering if anyone else was getting really low FPS. Granted, It isn't out for forge yet so maybe that could be a reason why. Or it just needs a really big optimization because my card is pretty beefy,

    posted a message on Problem Rendering Armor Textures On Player
    Hello Everyone, I'm trying to add some armor to my mod. The problem I'm having is that it's not rendering the textures on the player because for some reason it's looking the the wrong directory. If someone can help me fix this I would appreciate it :)

    Emerald Armor Code

    package com.skullcrusher.BetterThings.Armor;

    import net.minecraft.item.ItemArmor;
    import net.minecraft.item.ItemStack;

    import com.skullcrusher.BetterThings.BetterThings;
    import com.sun.xml.internal.stream.Entity;

    public class EmeraldArmor extends ItemArmor
    {
    public EmeraldArmor(ArmorMaterial armormaterial, int renderID, int partID)
    {
    super(armormaterial, renderID, partID);
    }

    public String getArmorTexture(ItemStack itemstack, Entity entity, int slot, String layer)
    {
    if((itemstack.getItem() == BetterThings.EmeraldHelmet) || (itemstack.getItem() == BetterThings.EmeraldChestplate) || (itemstack.getItem() == BetterThings.EmeraldBoots))
    {
    return "betterthings:textures/models/armor/emerald_layer_1.png";
    }
    if(itemstack.getItem() == BetterThings.EmeraldLeggings)
    {
    return "betterthings:textures/models/armor/emerald_layer_2.png";
    }
    else return null;
    }
    }

    I would like to use this mod in my modpack.

    My modpack is a survival island modpack with HQM and the goal of it is to survive complete all the quests and build a plane and get off the island.

    Not sure if it would be considered public though, Since itll be a 3rd party pack with a private pack code but open to the public.

    posted a message on Minecraft freezes on world load and the internal server shuts down.
    Hello Everyone, I'm making a modpack and I have everything working so far. When I try to load a world on my modpack it will say "building terrain" for a little bit and then it says "shutting down internal server" and it just freezes it doesn't crash. If anyone can read this log and tell me what the problem is it would be really appreciated.

    Log here

    This is what I made:

    @SubscribeEvent
     public void onBlockHarvested(HarvestDropsEvent event){
     EntityPlayer p = event.harvester;
    if(event.harvester != null && event.harvester instanceof EntityPlayer) {
     if(!event.isSilkTouching){
     ItemStack stack = FurnaceRecipes.smelting().getSmeltingResult(new ItemStack(event.block, 1, event.blockMetadata));
     if(stack != null && event.block != Blocks.redstone_ore && event.block != Blocks.lapis_ore) {
     event.drops.clear();
     event.drops.add(stack.copy());
     }
     }
     }
     }

    That unfortunately didn't work :( I think i'll just scratch the idea of autosmelting and just add some enchants :)
