It's a sessile marine organism, camouflaged as a rock. It never moves, only filter feeds, and is hermaphroditic when nearing reproduction, where it releases its gametes into the surrounding water so they can fertilize.
I think you might want to define the details in your crafting table textures a bit more; they're rather blurry. I think I also see wool blocks? I'm not entirely sure what they are (white and dark green blocks used in the buildings.) Nothing is wrong with them individually, but...I don't know, they seem a little out of place next to the more photorealistic textures you're using. You may want to work those a little more.
Still, not a bad direction this texturepack is going in. Hope to see more updates in the future. ^^
i'm not actually taking credit of it i'm not going to say i made them but i want to make an awesome texture pack a bit cooler with the random mobs
and i would make them but i need at least 6 and that would be a lot of work
Well, you could always just look up other 32x packs online and use textures from there? Of course if it's going public, you'll need to get permission from the creators of all textures first, and give credit. Public mash-up texture packs aren't really recommended though, since there isn't much originality or creativity to them, so it would best be left as a personal use pack.
Adjust your mic settings and balance out the volume. I turned the video's volume up to hear the music, and then when you spoke, it destroyed my eardrums.
I've had many. One that I remember was back in middle school. We were changing for PE in the bathrooms (for whatever reason) and I was really tired. Absent mindedly, I nearly walked into the girl's washroom. The worst part of it was I was so zoned out, I didn't notice the two girls literally pushing at me while I kept trying to walk in. x_x
A long time ago, back in early highschool, I was pretty active on the Habbodiscussion forums for Habbo Hotel. But I've since outgrown that, and the last time I checked the forums, they seemed pretty dead.
For the past few years, I was pretty active on the Second Life forums. I create content there xP. But I haven't used the forums in a long time for numerous reasons.
God, when I was a kid, I was OBSESSED with Lego Bionicle. Still kind of am. I got a whole tub of bionicle parts and some assembled Toa sitting under my desk.
If you did get permission, then I'd advise noting that you did in your original topic, just to avoid hassle.
Aesthetically, it's alright I suppose, but hardly seems to alter minecraft's appearance much. This is just me, but I think I'd advise against mixing two different resolutions when creating a texture pack. It tends to break the consistency of the scene. But then again, you said you made it as a personal pack, so...feel free to ignore the advice I guess?
But again, make sure you make it apparent that you got permission to mix the packs together (Provided you did get permission.)
The gold block texture seems like a bit of an odd choice to me, as it's slightly dipping into a lime green colour. But I'm interested to see where this pack goes
You can, however, locate the sound files yourself. The minecraft client itself is free to download. From there, locate your .minecraft folder in your AppData folder (If you're on PC. If not, there are loads of tutorials on how to locate the folder for both mac and pc) You should be able to locate the sound files fairly easily. They're all in .ogg format.
So I should just completely stop development of this because you said it's unoriginal?
That isn't what I'm getting at at all. You're free to continue how you like, but originality is a huge factor in how these types of projects are received, and it can be a lot more satisfying when looking at the finished result of a texture pack that was built from the ground-up instead of a quick filter application. You've uploaded this pack to get feedback according to your OP. This is feedback, and it's here to help improve your project, not tell you to can it. Just keep practicing if texturing is what you enjoy, and try to form your own personal style.
So it isn't the most innovative or 'new' idea. I mean you previously stated that no one had done a texture pack like this before, yet there have already been many.
Filter texture packs aren't always well-received since...well.. all you do is apply a filter, whereas many people put in the time and effort to hand-paint their texture packs. It's good that you're experimenting when starting out with this, but I would advise giving the pack a "hook" of sorts, as well as creating more, or all, custom textures, to make it more original.

Hopefully I can find a good home here.

You can. Grab Audacity or a similar program (it's free). Just open up the .ogg files and export them in your preferred file format.
