You can't link us directly to your computer. You need to host your download file on a download site like mediafire or dropbox.

Secondly, I can't count the number of times someone has made an X-ray pack. There's literally thousands. Three of them were posted up here in the past week or so. You should work on something more original next time.

    posted a message on Cellphone-free since...ever?
Anyone else in the same boat as me?

Never, in my entire 18 years of existance, have I owned a cellphone. I guess I just never got around to it, or never felt a need for it. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm planning on getting one in the near future. The new campus where I'm at is so huge, it'll be impossible to get in touch with anyone without one. But other than that, yeah. I've only used cellphones on occasion, either to try out a game a friend had, or to call someone when I didn't have any change to use a payphone. I've also never really understood the incessant need to text people, but then again, I frequently check skype while I'm online, so maybe it's the same sort of thing. Some people actually found it hard to believe that I've never owned a cell before. xD

Anyone else in this same boat? Never owned a cellphone before? Or if not, anyone who's without a cellphone right now. How are you dealing with that? :P

You never had to use the cracked version you know? The MC client is free to download on the main site, and lets you play on singleplayer offline. xD

Is your font and format loud enough? I can't tell. :P

This forum post is really poorly formatted. Do you have any screenshots of your pack? They are a MUST when you put up a texture pack for download.

Naruto's such a popular series, I'm sure you'd be able to find these skins online with a little bit of digging.

Dis here by my skin! I'm a blue-skinned extra-terrestrial with pointy ears and silver eyes. The black T-shirt has a blue Power-on symbol, similar to one that I own irl.

Mojang's new game 'Scrolls' looks awesome, so I decided to make a crossover Minecraft skin of the 'Sister of the Fox'-character:

You, sir/m'am, make some really beautiful skins! Nice work ^^

I need to put some CTm together for the wooden planks, only then would I be able to do that.

I agree with the brick thing though, I'm not satisfied at all with them. Color choice is limited with them though, so I need to figure something out...

It's not really the colour choice, just a tiling issue I guess. You just need to divide the texture canvas into equal layers so you don't have that skip :)

It's a nice start. I think you should edit that brick texture though. There's that one white line skip per block that adds in a huge brick. It just seems out of place. Also maybe you should add some ends to the wooden planks, so they don't extend infinitely xP

But not one that you yourself have created. This section of the forum is intended for creators to post their own texture packs. Not the packs of others :P

I recommend you take a look at some of the more popular "simple" texture packs. Simple doesn't necessarily mean flat colours with no shading and a grid pattern. If you are going to use a style like this, then you need something to appeal visually to the audience. Don't just slap on one shade of the default colours. They tend to look rather bland when unshaded.

You can't really tell people not to give criticism xD

Still, interesting idea, but it seems a little out-of-place since it's of a drastically different resolution from the default textures.

I may of confused you. Minecraft IS by default 32x32. Less pixels in the game, means less time computer uses to generate chucks and block, less time on Minecraft and computer to generate, faster the game play. I had tested this with my old Texture pack [SmoothCraft] And it actually did speed up my game performance. I used to have about 100 FPS but with my texture pack I hit up to 250 FPS.

Well then the resolution change makes sense, but I don't really understand how using only two colours is going to affect performance, when a detailed texture, or more intricate simple texture will achieve the same result. I'm pretty sure performance is based largely on resolution instead colour usage, especially since you aren't using a limited palette.
