    This isn't really the place to ask that sort of thing, but that aside. Unfortunately I'm pretty busy with class and other projects right now, so meeting fans individually in game isn't really something I can do right now. But if I ever do organize an in-game meet, I'll make a post about it.

    I don't really have any definite answers for this kind of thing since I'm still fairly new to a lot of this stuff. Though from what I've read, I'd rather not make the core functions of the pack rely on commands since then you wouldn't be able to use them fully on other servers and such. I am working on a system for custom names though. It won't be as elegant, but it'll work lol.

    According to the wiki, it looks like functions can only be applied to advancement rewards, and not triggers. Though I'm not the most experienced with command work in MInecraft so maybe I'm missing something here. xP

    Is it possible to detect when a player picks up an item with a custom name (renamed on an anvil)? For instance, an advancement would trigger when you pick up a gold ingot named "cheese"?

    They won't be in this update, but now that custom model swapping is possible, I'm definitely going to work on them in the near future. :)

    SO. It looks like the latest preview release of Optifine supports custom item models! This is going to solve most if not all of Itembound's compatibility issues with other resource packs, and now I can properly integrate custom shields without having to make them a separate addon pack. It also opens up a world of possibilities with new items.


    I'll probably talk about some of it in an impromptu video after I'm done with some of my studying today.


    Speaking of shields. I'm going to delay the update a little bit (sorry!) to add some in. I counted up the items I'd finished so far for the update, and it puts Itembound's total at 961 items. We're 39 away from 1000 so I figured I might as well add some extras in there to reach that milestone. And hey the channel hit 1000 subs recently too.

    Also just did a tally of the amount of food items completed so far... It's over 300. (352 to be exact)

    Not necessarily a bonus chest, although along with what i had in mind, I might toss in a few suggested items as well since ive lagged behind on them a bit. I'll post a video when I do though.

    So the food update's still taking longer than expected and I'd rather not keep people waiting too long, so I think at this point I'll just upload it in parts. I might have it ready this week, so stay tuned.

    Got some more deliciousness done today~

    Burgers, Tacos, Burritos, Nachos, Chips, and Fries. With some vegan options too.


    Also not featured here is a bunch of sushi and sashimi.

    It is possible, but I'm not sure that's something I'm allowed to do. Regardless, I want to avoid directly taking mojang's textures as much as possible.
