Why I should be accepted: I just need a server to chill on. I love singleplayer, and to copy every single aspect of it into something with multiple players is exactly what I'm looking for.
No violence, no stealing, just buds and fun.
a little minecraft profile if you will
- im incredibly experienced in general in this game, I have been playing it since alpha stage, when cows didn't exist.
- the stuff I make is beautiful. I'm an artist in real life.
- I suck scrotum at redstone.
but as you can see ive dug out a chunk at bedrock.
I checked that it was one of the 1/10 chunks to spawn slimes using the mcslime.appspot.com thing
and i got a mod that showed me that the chunk was capable of spawning slimes.
But i waited for an hour, 30 blocks away, and no slimes came.
The point im tryna make is that Notch didn't completely turn the game into a wreck.
I just looked at MCnostalgia and saw that it's probably used more for staying with mods you like.
I'm trying to promote something you can customize. keep the good-new stuff while tossing the bad-new stuff.
-edit-
per example, I like the new terrain (well some of it) and the new bow features
but i really despise all the endgame crap
real simple.
old alpha lovers like myself would love this.
simple idea -
-take out stuff that ruined the game (for us at least).
(strongholds, villages, the end, potions, nether structures)
-and add back in what made the game awesome back then.
(old sound effects)
maybe you could customize it?
I can see where they were trying to go. I mean if they wanted to stand besides giant mainstream games, they needed to be more like them. and since most all games ever created have an "ending", wouldn't it not be wrong to add one in?
the answer is no.
It's because Minecraft doesn't fit that genre in the first place.
I've played this game for more than a year now and any kind of ending simply doesn't fit in with the rest.
It's like the little dorky kid at school who get picked on and goes through peer pressure.
Minecraft needs to start to rise above it. I mean,
thats how it got so popular in the first place.
