    Sounds like you installed ControlPack after Optifine. There's a conflict between these mods that is documented in the post, please read it! You will need to use the Optifine version of the conflicting files, which for you will mean you'll get your zoom back. But you'll lose the void fog and less rain features of CP. Please do read the entire post if you haven't, lots of great info in there that goes unread all too much.

    And, btw, Optifine has a "Remove void fog" and a "Less Rain" type of feature included, so really you won't be missing anything.

    EDIT: Alright, looks like Dynamic Chunk Update + Controlpack works, and Zombe's Modpack + Controlpack works, but not both at the same time. Specifically, when i try to LookBehind while dynamic chunk update is enabled while Zombe's modpack is running crashes it. It works when Dynamic Chunk Update is disabled. I think its a minor glitch that shouldn't deter anyone, we can live without Dynamic Chunk Update.

    I use the MC Patcher and HD Texturepack fix. Before you say anything, I DO remember to uncheck all the mods before adding any, as Optifine has the HD Texturepack fix already included. First, I add Modloader by pressing the + button. Second, i add Controlpack. Third, I add Optifine. Fourth, I add Rei's Minimap (but since another guy got the same error without Rei's Minimap and since the classes involved in Rei's do not show up as creating an error in the error report, I'm pretty sure that is not what is causing the problem.) I then tested minecraft. The error only comes up when I try to load a world.

    EDIT: I've found the error. I completely refreshed minecraft again (delete .minecraft) and loaded all the mods and it worked. As I was fiddling with the settings it crashed when I turned on Optifine's dynamic chunk loading feature (more chunk updates when you stand still). Turning it off will fix the problem (probably).

    We seem to be having the same error, so my Rei's Minimap had nothing to do with it. It must be Optifine + Controlpack. Also, note that it only crashes once a world is loaded.

    My minecraft crashes upon loading up a world or entering a server. On the plus side, I found out that 1.3.1 has this nifty feature that saves your crash reports in a file in your .minecraft folder.

    I am looking for a Dedicated Spleef Server, ie. a server who's one and only function is to host many spleef games as efficiently as possible. I have yet to find a good non-whitelist spleef server, and would like to see this done. MUST have spleef plugins and be non-whitelist. Can also have some side features, such as a maze or parkour.

    Why us?: I've recently been interested in Fallout. I've been playing Fallout 3, and am about to start New Vegas. I've always liked Role-Play servers, and hold a very high respect for those who can RP really well. I learned about this server through my friend.
    Define Role-Playing in your words: Role-Playing is just as it sounds; taking on a role and playing its part. By Role-Playing, one forgoes his previous identity and takes on an entirely new mindset. A good roleplayer can develop a character not only on what their ideas are but also on the actions and ideas of others.
    Define Meta-gaming in your words: Meta-Gaming is having your character use information that could only have been found through out-of-character means. For instance, noticing a character because of the name above his/her head rather than through a line of sight or other means.
    Define Power-gaming in your words: In RP standards, this is generally being too powerful for your own good. Being able to dodge bullets Matrix style without any real means to do so, or delivering 50 headshots in a row are examples of power gaming.

    Background:
    Carson had always been little, and he never seemed to have a hand over people. That is, until he joined the Brotherhood of Steel. People always wondered how he was able to sweet talk his way into this prestigious society without even attempting the qualifying test. The reason for this was because he never actually trained to be a soldier. Instead, his role was Espionage. He was a double agent, pretending to be a member of the Enclave and reporting his findings back to the Brotherhood of Steel. This would have been perfectly fine, except for the fact that he was doing the exact same thing with the Enclave.
    Carson traded info both ways, using his wit and silver tongue to talk his way out of any situation. However, secrets have a tendency to get out, and this one was no exception. Both the Enclave and the Brotherhood found out and rebuked Carson, leaving him to wander the wasteland. Carson got by by doing odd and shady jobs, and slowly made his way across the wasteland. Eventually, work became slow, and Carson became strapped for cash. Then, after completing a job, Carson found a small note within his bag of caps telling him to head to Utah. With the prospect of even greater cash rewards, he speedily completed his job before setting out towards Utah.

    Nuka Cola is tasty, and I prefer it over Sunset Sarsparilla.
