    Amazing!!! My dreams realized :D As for the kaiju, do i need to set up spawn areas for it? Or certain behaviors like following the player from afar (basically spawning it from a certain distance and making it follow)

    I posted on the other thread already.

    Well I have the movie itself on dvd, so I can get some great reference pic's for texturing. I also have the soundtracks, so I can make some nice audio. I have the kaiju roars as well :D audio from the movie. I have trespasser's if you want it. I can code basic things, but haven't tried coding something like a jaeger. I have a good concept of how it's going to be like, as I've been trying to make a pacific rim mod of my own. Pm me if you're interested please. I can texture well, I'll show you some skins if you want *for jurassic park operation genesis*

    Okay I want to help really badly I've been trying to make a pacific rim mod of my own, just can't get the coding for the mount ability to control the jaeger. I can code in java, can make textures, can create items, block and mobs, etc. Just not the super advanced stuff yet such as mounting entities but i have a pretty good idea of how it works. Pm me for more details. Also, would it be okay if you guys made it for 1.6.4 first then 1.7.2? There are a bunch of mods stuck in 1.6.4, and not all are updated. In other words, people still use 1.6.4.
    Ps I have coding experience. I'm also a fast learner, and can figure a lot of things out myself no tutorials needed. Or I could be your texturer for the mobs I can make hd textures that would look good

    guys...youre misunderstanding the 25% thing. it means 25% left. it used to be 75% done, until mr.compost changed it because of misunderstandings back then.And the post hasnt been updated for awhile, im sure its lower than that. Mr.compost said some posts back that the mod will release sometime after 1.6 comes out.i could be wrong...he never directly stated it, but it was konda implied.

    Oh hey, sorry, was out for a while. Sure, when your finished shoot me a pm. I'll implement it. Progress has been kinda slow...first because I have almost no free time. Or is this an idea? Either way, shoot me a pm, if it's a model, just send a link to download it. If it's an idea, i'll need some information on that, so feel free to include links.

    Edit: Got the pictures of the crawlers up. Edited the original post, please feel free to view the mob!

    I'll get around to getting pics of the soul. I'm thinking about getting a jenkins so I can put up builds of the mod, so you guys can test it out. I'm sorta new to forge, so I'm experimenting around a lot.

    But no! This is a special mod. It will add soo much content, and in the future a few more dimensions:

    Icy Hell
    The Skylands
    and a few more
    Edit: got some more:

    Prehistoric Forest
    Haunted Swamp




    Mobs:

    Plenty of mobs will be added. A mob has already been added, it is called the "crawler". This thing
    is harmless, and won't hurt you. It looks freaky, but it only feeds on the blood in netherrack. And it's super
    slow. It drops magma slimes, and spawns in groups.

    Crawler:






    These are weird mobs. They spawn in the nether(duh), and are kind of rare. It does take a bit of time to explore, but it is worth seeing these creatures. They use the blaze sounds (will change this) and are really slow. They are surprisingly passive, and drop magma cream.


    Souls: They wander around the nether, having escaped from the soul sand.


    Generation:

    New ruins and villages will generate


    Right now:



    I need a modeller that CAN do the entire render and model file. Must be able to add animations too.

    Coder that is proficient at doing structure generation in the nether.

    I may be of some help, since I am a coder. However, I'm only good with modloader. I'm trying to use forge, and I guess it's not doing too good. Then again, im not an epic coder with modloader. I can however, make a basic boat with your models.

    And like thom666 said, Dr. Zhark does not use any editors. He uses hardcore java code to make these beautiful models, and I simply
    applaud him for that. I use Techne, only because I don't understand that Model____.java file.

    No, he codes them in. I read somewhere, he said he doesn't use techne. He uses pure java code, and that makes him just that much more legendary as a coder.

    Really? In that case: Thank you so much to all of Angry Pixel for making this mod. You guys all deserve respect, I know how it is to
    be a coder. All those countless hours, you guys are amazing. BTW, Mr. Compost, do you know what happened to Minecraft Evil Minecraft that's being done by Angry Pixel? Is it put in line for mods to be worked on? Or is it being updated and worked on?
